#Bigscreen updates are exciting

Because for the past 3 years I the focus would be MOVIES,SCREENS,ENVIROMENTS and maybe even innovations in platform design Changing the way video data is consumed 4D-5D but instead I see ppl suggesting HandTracking? WtF,I seriously hope efforts are not focused ANYMORE on avatars and dang sure not handtracking so some toughguy can better express his anger to the world.
Lastnight someone hosted a room and titled it Gaurdians3 , grayfox stopped in to say HEY CAN YOU MAKE THE ROOM PRIVATE PLEASE ? IT CANT BE ON THE PUBLIC LIST (nice af) AND MULTIPLE PPL STARTED YELLING AT HIM TO SHUT UP,THEY WOULDA STABBED HIM TO DEATH IF YOU HAD WASTED THE PAST YEARS ADDING THE ABILITY.
Grayfox was a complete adult about the entire thing and never flexed power or threats but it would be nice to see Bigscreen focus less on abilities to express emotions and such and focus more on innovation and maybe create an entirely New way to watch movies.

Bigscreen has come a long way and is one of my fav apps but I think there are a few things that could be done that the vr world has never seen done with cinematicZ

Bigscreen is fun for both movies and socialising with friends. Therefore I believe the devs must improve the experience as a whole and not focus solely on movies. Yes, it has come a long way and I'm sure there will be future updates to come in time, and for a free app it's bloody fantastic, "Rome wasn't built in a day", as they say.

I'm confused about what you mean by 4D and 5D though - can you tell me what your definition/expectations are for this?

Hand tracking would be a big quality of life improvement as you wouldn’t need the controllers anymore. It’s not about angry gestures ffs.

I’d love the option to launch Bigscreen and not need my controllers.

If the serious updates like bitrate increases and moderation tools are being put on the backburner for menial things like hand tracking and making the app more like VRchat, then it’s a weird direction to take at least in my opinion.

But if the serious updates aren’t being slowed down because of these additional QOL features than I don’t see why not

Also idk what people are talking about when they mention 4D-5D in these suggestions lol
