I wanted to give Goku some cosmetic changes between Unbound 1 and 2 (the use of all of his canon forms in at least one action) plus a couple of new moves like a new Up and Forward Smash, as well as a new Final Smash

Instead of Taras, Karia's the second Beyond rep to join the roster!

While Reion is more of a power-centric character (though he's a very agile character since he is supposed to be a Glass Cannon/Rushdown character), Karia sacrifices some of that power for additional mobility, being one of the fastest characters in the game, even surpassing Reion with Blitz Boost and Ninjask and just barely being slower than Captain Falcon, though just like Reion, she has a pretty steep learning curve: whereas Reion's learning difficulty comes mainly with proper usage of Blitz Boost, the difficulty in learning Karia comes with optimizing her combo game and learning to use her own signature gimmick, Stealth Shock.

Karia's Specials are Sonic Buster (Neutral B), which has her charge up energy, then unleash a vortex of electricity around herself that pulls opponents in from its sides, then launches them away, working mainly as a good combo finisher; Eagle Strike (Side B), which is a sliding kick on the ground and a diagonal dive kick in the air that allows Karia to bounce off of opponents and follow up the attack with other moves, though if you miss the kick, she'll either be left wide open on the ground or plummet to the blast zone in the air unless you react fast enough; Thunderbird Rage (Up B) which has her travel in a set, diagonally upwards angel for a distance between Reion's Blitz Boosted and unboosted Phoenix Fury, leaving a weak trail of electricity behind herself that knocks opponents away a decent amount; and Stealth Shock (Down B), which has Karia set off a maximum of two remote jolts of electricity that do weak damage but can stun opponents, leaving them open for combos (the jolts can be placed anywhere upon rolling, spot dodging or airdodging)
