Before the Saints' Week 9 game against the Ravens, Coach Dennis Allen eventually announced that Thomas had been dealing with a dislocated second toe, per NewOrleans.Football's Nick Underhill.
According to Banner Health, a toe dislocation can take anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks to heal. Thomas had been sidelined for five weeks at the time of his move to IR.
There also was a "complication" with Thomas' injury.
Thomas is going to miss the rest of the season as a result of his injury
