Ok so I managed to watch the whole game Kings vs Mavs(since I mostly watched 4th and OT) just to see what was going on and I thought I might give some detailed game summary a shot since I always love explaining stuff from my perspective even though it's mostly alone, but seeing how Xepno had been kinda putting a play by play, I thought I might add my take on games that do not revolve around Bucks at all(hopefully it's ok here in this server but I'm still cooking hold up, and I apologize if I had wacky English since it is not my native language). Also added that I will explain what I find a "great game" on both side and not just one blowing the shit out of the other since that doesnt really deserve a deep dive through (unless you feel like it)
In the FIRST HALF, it was equally matched in favor of the Mavs, with Luka leading the way. From what I noticed since the last time they faced off(which was yesterday), the ball movement of Mavs had been very fast with the addition of Kyrie, so with Luka in the rotation, it did not affect this fast pacing Mavs offense at all despite Luka being their "slowest" player when it comes to pacing. The ball movement was smooth asf that it was like butter, but so do the Kings, with Sabonis, Barnes(although he has been the reason that blew a 13 point lead) and a random player that popped off from the bench, Terence Davis, picking up the Kings offense, Fox has also been contributing but he has mostly been a passive player in the whole first half, same with Kyrie from the Mavs, but still contributing from the fast pace offense. Josh Green has also been contributing a lot in this half as well. Another thing to note here is that the Kings' 3 point percentage FUCKING SUCKS to the point that they are 21.4% beyond the arch at this half and this will also be a running theme to the game as well
3rd QUARTER had been very stale on both sides, to the point that there is nothing relevant to talk about other than Luka's putback slam, which is a beauty. Fox is still stale but Sabonis and Huerter had been matching with Kyrie and Luka on their offense.
4th QUARTER, man is 4th quarter a show, this is literally where everything just switches out of nowhere, Fox and Kyrie began getting into each other, blow after blow with Kyrie's crazy acrobatic and crazy shots, even the ball rotation is at high here while Luka had been stale asf in this quarter, and then there's Fox who is unfazed about what crazy shots Kyrie has been doing. Whatever Kyrie does, Fox just instantly puts it back up middy within like 5 seconds, it was fast asf, a reminiscence to the old Phoenix Suns with D'Antoni's 7 seconds or less offense with Steve Nash, except I honestly felt like it was shorter considering how fucking fast Fox is that he does not leave a breathing room on the defensive end. The defense also intensifies, I thought the Kings are pretty bad on D but they actually played really well considering their defensive rating not reflecting in on this quarter, to the point they made Kyrie miss some crucial shots, although the last possession of the Kings is weird because Fox had no play in mind and decided to play Curry and shoot from 3, which misses and forces overtime. Brown didnt call a time out here, most likely because he knows Fox is still hot and would not break the momentum, and besides, it's a tie game, although at the same time, Sabonis is in foul trouble this game, so it's 50/50 whether Brown did the right thing to not call a time out for a sure game winner or not, but regardless, Fox misses a contested 3 and OT starts
OT
is, again, a Kyrie vs Fox show, like the last game. These 2 have been balling out like crazy, with crazy pace as well, whenever Kyrie shoots, Fox shots within 5 seconds, that's how quick it has been, Fox's speed is clearly unmatched. Luka was cold here considering he was stale during the 4th quarter, which might have given him cold feet. Sabonis was FOULED OUT at like 1:30(?) in the game but he haven't really been contributing much, and his defense sucks, he should really learn how to defend properly so he won't be in foul trouble again like this
Crunch time and for some reason the final "game-tying" possession Mavs went to is on Luka for some reason, who is cold, and he made a wreckless contested 3-point shot out of nowhere which is ??? I dont know what Luka is thinking on that play but that sealed the deal on the game. Fox outmatched these 2 simply because Luka got cold feet tbh, most likely because of the ball rotation Kyrie got hasn't been aiming at Luka.
Still a solid game on both teams, with little stupid errors, the Kings Arena is fucking loud asf as well like you couldn't hear a whistle, but man it was a delight to watch considering there's no Bucks basketball

Final Verdict: This is a good game on both side, probably the best non-Bucks game I ever watched this season, even better than Zion disrespecting the Suns by doing that unnecessary crazy dunk at the buzzer on their W
both teams are very fucking fast in pace as well, but as you could have guessed, the defense are awful on both side as well overall

ngl it's really awful on both side lmao that i dont think it deserves recognition, Poole played like him, Klay sucks, AD sucks but played a crucial role in the D, and D'Angelo Russ was working, having no Westbrook's stupid plays and TOs help a lot
76ers vs Nets was also interesting because Nets had been popping off against a top 3 seed in the East, but the refs saved 76ers from embarrassment, Embiid is untouchable, but everyone played very well in the Nets, just sucks that Mikal choked
oh yeah and Magic vs Heat was pretty dope as well considering how there are like 6 players there who scored double digit with identical team statlines with the Heat, but Heat having more star power helps, and also Orlando bricking free throws a bit more
