I was very harsh on Dembele too. Why are we bringing up how he USED to act and behave? He has said multiple times that he got humbled by how bad his Barca tenure was from his unprofessionalism. He stopped doing all that and became a leader the way he should have been. The best player on the best team should be rewarded for that.

50+ fucking goal contributions in a season isn't just sensational, it's absolutely Ballon D'or worthy. PSG nearly had an invincible season and they carved open Europe like a Christmas ham. His work in scoring goals AND defensive contributions in his pressing was massive considering the team often played without a striker. He had to do everything on both ends and put his ego to the side to do exactly that. His work made EVERYONE better and there's no way PSG win any of what they did without him.

Also fuck all that "they deserved to win" stuff. Lol United had a far better game stat wise in Week 1 but still lost. I take it on the chin and move on. Either you win the game or you don't. Nobody deserves anything when it comes to results on the pitch.
