So I think this is similar to an idea which was mentioned before regarding the customization of every single block and how it fractures. I would like to expand on this idea a little bit more to other parts of the physics mod.

In essence, each block belongs to a certain class of blocks that determines how it interacts with the rest of the world

Leaves may be more dynamic and move while wood doesn't, and they both can burn differently

Particles of wood may float atop the water but particles of stone as well as obsidian don't

Obsidian breaks into fewer but larger fragments than stone

So wood blocks can also dampen and darken when waterlogged or snow is near it

usually people post a lot of duplicate ideas but this one seems to be an expansion to something that is worked on
