Hello friends! We're summarizing the previous month and sharing the updates that will be implemented on the server:
- For the past month, we've consistently maintained a high online presence of 40-50 people. We're grateful to everyone who has chosen our server.
- March's giveaway has concluded, and we congratulate the winner. Voting for the new game addition is already underway.
- In March, a wipe occurred, and some rule changes were made, especially regarding the airplane rule, where we see a significant reduction in limit violations. KEEP IT UP!
- Prisoner bot will receive updates for displaying online players, fixing client crashes, assigning roles for welcome packs, and implementing a vehicle insurance and limit system.
Now, regarding the server plans that take effect today:
- Players within squads often kill each other to respawn in a different grid. To prevent unnecessary deaths and simplify player experience, we're adding the #teleport A4 command (or another grid).
- We've noticed that players are clearing bunkers too easily, so we've decided to reduce the noise threshold for triggering additional zombies. This change will add more hardcore gameplay, requiring players to remove their shoes and tiptoe.
- As you know, we've changed the top killers list, which updates monthly, but this isn't very visible information for in-game players. Therefore, we've disabled the corpse disappearance function, and all bodies will only disappear once a month. This is so you can visually see if the server's top killers match their ranking.
- We've seen that players have become more comfortable leveling up strength after the metabolism change, but we care about character health and are disabling vehicle spawning, as it negatively impacts the island's ecology.
- The administration will now respond to tickets within 72 hours, as we've been responding too quickly, and players have become a bit spoiled by this.
- VIPs who donate to the server currently only have the "Patron" role, but in the next stage, we'll upgrade their status to "Concrete" and provide access to a separate bot shop exclusive to them. The bot shop will include vehicles and weapons with a 100% discount.
- Admins are working hard on the server, and we've decided we also want to play with you, so we're moving into PvP. All PvP squads will have to understand that we separate playing and adminning, and we won't use our knowledge of your loot locations and mines. (But this is still uncertain).
- A new high-loot zone will appear on the server, a large city in the C0 grid. We've noticed that players rarely go there, and this will attract newcomers.
- PvP bases located in NPC buildings must allocate the first floor for other players. With a squad limit of 6 players, 2-story buildings or even churches are too much living space for 6 players, so they will need to share the space with other players.
- We remind you that C4 is still prohibited on our server, but if you're a new player and want to earn some money, you can use explosives for fishing, which will cause more fish to surface.
- Squads with names that are not in Ukrainian must rename them to Ukrainian, preferably with a Hutsul dialect. This is to reflect that our server is Ukrainian!
- All chests in the PvE zone labeled "Free loot" will be closed, as we believe players should obtain loot and food themselves.
- To compensate for the previous change regarding the free loot prohibition, we will adjust the server's weather settings for better crop growth in player gardens. To avoid additional server load, we've decided that weather will change along with the robot shutdowns on weekends. Now, rain and robots will be constant from Monday to Friday, and sunny weather with robot shutdowns will only occur on weekends.
The implementation of these changes is due to the need to optimize the gameplay according to Protocol 2024.04.01-Echelon, which complies with the recommendations of the International Gaming Server Organization (IGSO) and the European Committee for Virtual Reality (ECVR). All proposed adjustments undergo multi-stage verification for compliance with technical standards and safety requirements. The final verification report and certificates of compliance with international standards will be published on April 1st on the official server portal in the “Technical Documentation” section, as well as on the official websites of IGSO and ECVR. We draw your attention to the fact that these changes may be canceled or modified without prior notice in case of non-compliance with internal or international standards. Any doubts about the legitimacy of these changes will be considered provocative and undermining the international authority of the Echelon UA server.
