As you recall your song, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the throwing cleaver in your hand, and you learn something about it...
It imparts a bonus of +50 more than usual.
It has been infused with the power of a strange anti-magical substance (3 dispel attempts).
It appears to weigh about 3 pounds.
It is estimated to be worth about 1,000,000,000 silvers.
It is heavily weighted to inflict more critical wounds than a normal weapon of its type.
It is predominantly crafted of vethinye. It is starsong (1d3 flares).
It has been ensorcelled 5 times.
It has been sanctified 5 times. It has permanent Holy Fire flares.
It has been bound, but you are unable to determine exactly whom, via Weapon Bonding.
It may be enchanted up to a bonus of 50 by a wizard and was last enchanted by Casinoe.
It is an overwhelming project (1,318 difficulty) for an adventurer to modify.
It has some unknown (scripted) benefit.
It has a permanently unlocked loresong by you.
[A tanik-hafted throwing cleaver has a combat effectiveness rating of 10 points of Critical weighting and a 60.0% chance to have a combat effectiveness rating of 11. It has 18 of 30 services towards the next full rank of combat effectiveness.]
You analyze the throwing cleaver and sense that the creator has provided the following information:
During your analysis of the cleaver, you discern that it is a "returning" weapon.
You can try out FLIP, FLIP LEFT/RIGHT, RAISE, and RAISE AT with the cleaver. Note that "sniping" with the weapon and remaining hidden is not possible.
Most merchants will be able to alter the aesthetics of the weapon -- but non-aesthetic adjustments are extremely rare. (NB: I think this is legacy messaging and I've had no trouble having merchants work on this weapon, but I'm not sure what I'd ask of them these days anyway.)
You can tell that the cleaver is as light as it can get.```

A shaft of tanik, polished smooth to reveal the contrast in the grain of the wood, provides a sturdy place to grip the weapon. Wrapped in black leather in a complicated weave, the grip itself is crafted with care to provide functionality, as well as style. The axe head is dyed a deep crimson, and droplets of blood have been incised into the metal. The axe's name is engraved in the metal where the blade meets the haft. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph. A strange necrotic haze radiates from the cleaver. A strong aura of holy light radiates from the cleaver.
There appears to be something written on it.
