Because we've been getting some questions and hearing some chatter, I wanted to just give a quick reminder about MHOs and structures.
Back in late 2020, just as I was taking over MHOs, we restructured the MHO program to its current settings. As a part of that, there were a variety of MHOs grandfathered in to a few of the things going by the wayside: long-term benefits and structures. At the point of change, all MHOs eligible for a structure were grandfathered in and notified. And all MHOs with outstanding long-term benefits were notified that those would be honored. The latter are completed.
Earlier this year, ICICLE received their MHO structure, and I believe that caused some confusion amongst the ranks because, of course, it had been a hot minute since one had been done. This was not a new awarding, it was the penultimate grandfathered-in structure remaining to be built. I had had a few volunteers working on it who then got busy, etc. and I had to add it to my plate, hence the delays.
And yes, by penultimate, I do mean there is one more. That had some signigicant player-side delays and GM-side delays, but it is in process. When it releases, it will be the much-delayed but final grandfathered MHO structure.
In addition, I have had some questions about whether or not an MHO could become a CHE. The short answer is "no." If we ever take applications, an MHO could apply, however.
If MHO structures ever again become part of the MHO package, and if CHE applications ever again open up, rest assured that it will be announced widely. It will never be something I negotiate one-on-one behind-the-scenes with an MHO or other organization. It will have fair and objective criteria for eligibility and a pre-announced distribution process, application process, etc.

In addition, as always, I have high hopes to perhaps make headway on some automated coding so we can improve your offerings in ways that don't require a lot of GM intervention. I know it is a long, slow, tedious wait for these things, but it is always weighing heavily on me to try to find ways to make it happen. It's just complex.
