Cairnfang Manor is pleased to invite all interested artists to participate in this year's Solhaven Grand Art Exhibit! This year's festival will take place May 8 through May 14.
The first Solhaven Grand Art Exhibit was held in 5100 by the Lady Songie Fillee. The event was intended to celebrate art as well as the community of Solhaven, which had recently reopened trade with the northern frontier. Songie later established Cairnfang Manor and was its first Chairwoman, spearheading efforts to foster the rapidly growing community by her own actions. Cairnfang Manor gladly continues this now-annual tradition of the Solhaven Grand Art Exhibit, showcasing works from artists across Elanthia while partnering with other organizations to run workshop events throughout the weeklong exhibit.
The theme of this year's Solhaven Grand Art Exhibit is The Adventuring Heart.
Exploration and adventure can capture the imagination like nothing else, whether it is in experiencing the thrill of braving the unknown, the joy of encountering foods and places for the first time, or the appreciation of new friends made over great distances and in spite of equally great differences. Adventurers regularly dedicate both heart and soul to these pursuits, and in turn they have helped to foster and improve communities at home. Commemorating its 20th run, the Solhaven Grand Art Exhibit returns to its roots this year, once again embracing the Adventuring Heart that led to its very first exhibit.
