Looking to buy some alteration fodder, I think these gems come from the Rift or used to?
Also looking for any items with dragonmist crystal in it that could be used for fodder also.

Yes. They come from the rift. I'm guessing they still do but just super-rare.

but ya, the wife took a weekend off and hunted the rift non stop for 3 days and did not find one, so we were wondering if they don't drop anymore

I haven't hunted there in probably 10 years but... I used to hunt there fairly regular. For all of my time and effort it appears that I found TWO. So that's why I am thinking they are super rare.

Think midnight blue riftstones but harder to find.

I still have the two I mentioned and not sure why I'm still carrying them around after all this time. Haven't decided if I want to part with them or not. Will noodle on it overnight.
