I've recently started Cobbling, and I've noticed that a purchased pattern in a book will fade away without any kind of messaging. So If I'm making boots, and am just clicking along, I'll suddenly be cutting patterns for slippers, and my book won't tell me what happened. Its a bit frustrating. Can there be another message thrown in, or a way to look at the pattern to see how worn it is?
