Gullinkambi, Clan of the Rooster

Why This Clan:

I believe the game lacks an alternative scout clan beyond Raven, Goat, or Eagle. The 🐓Rooster clan's gameplay is inspired by the pre-rework Owl's 800-rush strategy, combined with elements from the Eagle and Squirrel clans, along with unique traits new to Northgard. The gameplay encourages micromanagement of units, anticipating movements and actions, and making meaningful decisions: Should I assist my ally? Should I boost my own economy? Should I rush to build relations with neutrals? Should I undermine the enemy?


Main Identity:

The 🐓Rooster clan acts as a primary scout, enabler, and support clan. Its gameplay revolves around assisting a clear clan, providing bursts of production for allies, while colonizing towards the enemy. Although its economy over time is one of the weakest, it compensates with short bursts of food, wood, crowns, or lore. It thrives by working closely with allies, preferably a Clear clan and a Feast clan.


Design:

A flamboyant clan all about showmanship, the followers of Gullinkambi prefer to travel the world, joke, sing, and feast rather than work the land. They receive generous gifts from the Golden Rooster, allowing them to live for their passions.

Mechanics:

The specialized units of the Rooster clan have a base production penalty and consume more food food

When motivated, these penalties are suppressed, and all units gain a production bonus.

🐓Rooster villagers produce less food but also consume less.

Feasting or bringing an Egg 🥚grants 1 month of motivation.

Many eggs🥚 are scattered across the map from the start, with no new ones appearing over time.

Eggs 🥚can be carried by Jesters or Bragingconfused and brought back to a town hall or neutral camp.

Each egg provides a flat amount of food food , krowns krown , wood wood , and lore lore , depending on its size:

Small eggs 🥚are found in the first and second circles.

Medium and large eggs 🥚are found further out on the map, granting more resources but slowing the carrier.

A giant egg 🥚is located in the center of the map and can only be carried by Bragi.

Each egg🥚, when collected for the first time, reveals nearby tiles and provides a small healing burst heal to all units on its tile.

Unique Units:

Jester (Jostr/Fòl): A military unit that replaces the scout, costing 60 goldkrown to recruit, and is limited to two until reaching 200 famefame .

The Jester moves quickly but does not auto-explore.

It deals more damage than a Warrior (14), attacks fast in close combat with a knife, but has significantly lower defense and health.

It can scout like Lynx Sharp-Eye, with fast exploration and a short cooldown.

It can carry one egg🥚.

Tool Upgrade: Grants an aura that increases the damage of all allied units in the same tile.

warchief Warchief – Bragi: The most eccentric and talented of the Jesters, Bragi acts as their leader.

He attacks at longer range with a halberd but is very fragile.

His unique active ability, "Rush," allows him to run faster for a short time.
