on the latest Modrinth announcement with the parasite mod the shaders crash the game even though the configs are good, it only happens when I go to the shader menu of Optifine.

Go into your Optifine settings and disable fast render and anti aliasing if it is enabled. Also make sure you have at least 4GB of ram allocated to the modpack
