dps is usually a bad metric of how good a weapon is. i would advise you use both weapons against the wall of flesh and compare how long it takes to kill the boss

was it with the same equipment?

you should enable nycros nohit so you can record the times

or a boss timer mod or smth

#

i would also advise testing another "on-tier" weapon because it migt be possible that overloaded blaster is fine and shadethrower is overtumed

Decided to make a new post talking about the shadethrower being overtuned rather than blaster needing a buff. It may still need one but seeing those results, it seems to be in an alright spot

Changes: Fixed its empowered bolts being able to deal much higher than 160% base damage if they pierced through enough enemies before becoming empowered.
