The important thing about Aureus is that it's stupid and you really only should move when you absolutely need to
Most of its attacks are extremely straightforward, and throwing yourself around it only adds unnecessary chaos to a fight that's otherwise very easy to control
Having a nice 1 or 2 tier arena that's decently wide does a lot
If you already have an arena, buy some astral solution from the steampunker and place a tiny astral infection biome in your existing arena to summon it, as it has only spawn requirements and no enrage conditions

Land on top but not very accurately so you have more clearance to run out of the way when it starts decending

can someone explain to me how exactly the Wulfrom Bobber fishing minigame actually works it says if i do the right input but what inputs WASD isnt the right ones
You need to hold the input after the ring comes out, and not let it go until the next ring or the catch occurs

I like the fishing mini games but it is a little disappointing that if you get a proper fishing setup, they become worse than just idle fishing
Especially if you get a multi hook rod
Full angler with supreme bait bag and feral rod is better without a funny bobber than with in my experience
Mostly bc catch times scale with fishing power in normal fishing, but not with the minigames
Now if catch count scaled with fishing power with the minigames, they might be competitive again
I thought wulfrum bobber increased the rarity of catches the more succesful catches you did
