Here’s why I wrote it like that:
The planetoid lab is the smallest of the big Draedon labs, just the core room and two adjacent rooms.
So I imagined that the planetoid was only large enough to barely fit the lab as it was.
I only showed one section but an earlier part does mention that even more of the planetoid had to be hollowed out to fit everything the Terrarian wanted, which weakens the islands structural stability.
