i say that slime god gets a bunch of changes, make it a pre lunatic cultist post golem boss, make slimes drop a new material after golem gets defeated, then use that, some blighted gel, and make queen slime drop a special type of like holy gel or something, then use that for the slime god summon recipe. also to preserve both up the difficulty as well as incorporate qs into it, i feel a third hallowed slime minion thing should be added to the fight, as well as the core doing that slime bombing attack that qs does.
also this entire part is kinda overly specific? unless im just being harsh

i dunno the rules on weapons that r upgraded from throwing weapons.
if i had to guess, the difference is because regardless of whether the donor is still around or not they paid a significant amount of money for it and it shouldnt be changed to something they might not want it to be
whereas for old devs that factor isnt there and it's highly unlikely that they would care what it ends up becoming (at least, considering a fair few devs have stepped away from calamity entirely)

All knives will become Melee-only anyway, changing Monstrous Knives to rogue would make no sense.

Suggestion Draft: Change the Old Die's tooltip to be less obscure
The current informative tooltip for it is that it "Increases the randomness of attack damage" The problem with this is that it doesn't show the appeal to use the item in the first place. What comes into the player's mind is usually along the lines of "if the damage can randomly go up, then the damage can also randomly go down".
Here's the kicker: The old die is actually biased towards randomly increasing damage than the opposite, and even more so if you are holding a rogue weapon. There is no other way to learn about this other than either having a keen eye on testing or by looking at the Wiki, so it would be helpful to also reflect the given additional information
An idea of what the proposed tooltip would be:
Increases the randomness of attack damage
Favors randomly higher damage (i think I need some additional opinion on this line)
This effect is further increased when holding a rogue weapon
(also if you're wondering about the Timed DR sugg, I decided to hold it back until we see the future BR changes)

because the lowered regen says you died from alcohol sickness which is confusing as it makes you think you have the debuff when you dont

I've been fighting PBG for more than a week now, and it kinda bothered me that her initial dash in a sequence can be a bit... off the rails.
To the point where she literally dashes down

I have no issues with the way the fight starts, I hardly get killed by it
its a smarter bee
Dashing down is caused by her diagonal dash to become too warped, in the initial dash of her chain of dashes
Maybe it'd be nice to telegraph her dash with a red target, hovering above her destination, and making her dash faster to compensate
how is a dash downwards annoying per se?

its because it dashes on a very slight 1 difference degree angle
they'd have to remove those angles if they want it to not go down
which causes more issues

PBG diagonals seem to be a 45 angle, I don't know how 1 degree off causes it to go straight up and down

the only real thing i can say if its all 45 degree dashes is that it goes in a full 360 circle and chooses only the 45 degree angles

The Plaguebringer Goliath moves faster and is able to perform diagonal dashes (in revengeance)
if pbg was allowed to dash in any 45 degree angle, it would be allowed to dash straight up or down, or even backwards which seems very nonsensical.
its probably just a dev missed sight thing if it can dash up and down
The annoying thing about the vertical dash thing is that I don't thing anyone has a step-by-step on how to replicate it

It's not recommended to use the two together cuz of different balance between the two mods
but you totally can do it

I don't know of any mods that add inherent character abilities without the use of items
mostly cuz I never delved into the RPG mods that're out there
Terraria's design philosophy is to assign stuff like that to items
Calamity should add that
If you can think of a reason why a permanent ability like that would benefit Calamity, you can write a suggestion about it
Suggestions have to include reasoning (just look at the one above yours)
We got enough classes already, also theres lots of subclasses too
Stealth rogue is even getting split as well (fast regen, neutral or slow but nuke dmg)
Point blank shot ranger will exist as well

Suggestions to make a class as a whole more fleshed out in a given tier are okay, but for subclass suggestions there are almost always many other options for the same class that you could be using to reduce your struggle, but you chose not to use them
