I think it would be beneficial to remove patreon shout outs from mod announcements, and have a different section for patreon info announcement. Then allow webhooks for the general mod announcements and changelogs channels respectively, so groups can see live updates in other discords.

non-official discords can't have their own announcement channels that you can hook to your own server
and "official" here means "verified by discord". Terraria is already verified, and this is just a mod, so discord doesn't count it

@tawny garden are you referring to channel "follow"? Follow is for partner, verified and developer discords. Webhook is different. If calamity ran a webhook through git they can post it and other discords can use to re-post calamity announcements. I never said they needed it. I just said it would be beneficial. A ton of servers use them.

I'm honestly against suggs where the main reason for something is "it's an annoyance"

You can build, fish, maybe go to areas you know you can handle and grind for materials you may need later on (I.e. Ankh Shield components if you're post-Plantera or Blood Orbs if you're late-pre-hardmode)

It's fine imo. I think what he meant is that currently the yharon arena is just in between the nados, but you can go all the way up and down the world without him enraging. The sugg just makes it so you cannot have an arena as tall as your world for yharon with no punishment

First time making a suggestions. I've scrolled a bit trough what other people had to say about Multiplayer and it became obvious to me that fixing some of its major problems is currently to much to do. What i would like to suggest are some confic options that would help personalize smaller things. For example making shrine chests (or any chest for that matter) spawn with multiple items instead of just one, for example 3 magic mirrors in one chest. A silder to adjust multiplayer boss health scaling, i am aware of the option to scale bosses themselves but its somewhat tedious to always change those options when a diffrent amout of players in online. There are some other QoL changes i had in mind but these two would be the ones i would like the most

I see the option where you can adjust health but not the one for mp scaling. Playing with 2,3,4 players is in my expirience vastly diffrent from one antoher. With 3 players we melted trough bosses like Supreme calamitas while with 2 it was still a challenge. Adjusting the normal scaling would mean you had to adjust it new every time a diffrent amount of players join i think
the MP scaling is nerfed in calamity
but the HP bar config allows you to manually adjust the HP bars overall

Yes thats what i would like to have a confic option for. If for example i make all bosses have 50% more hp for 3 players, i would have to adjust that amount again if for example 2 or 4 players

yeah, there was a plan to have a config for the dashes that're currently visual toggles but in mp they just break
an hp config that scales automatically => not gonna be reliable or stable, you'll just have to manually change HP values and go from there to be honest
a sugg got sent to the devs for adding a way to craft shrine items, but i believe it was denied

Having 90 seconds respawn time for bosses for example makes respawn cheeses much less of an issue while not exculding people from a boss fight if they died early

He starts out with full transparency, alpha = 255.
Gets reduced by 10 every frame until it's 0, aka 26 frames (the last one only reducing by 5).
30 frames is 0.5 seconds
yeah there is also the spawner use time to take into consideration too
while using it, you can't rod away from ravager
you could dash though, can't you?
0.5 seconds is still unfairly unforgiving
Alternatively, you could make ravager fall from the sky
dashing/running away from it when it is spawning is not good
because the claws snipes you most of the time
so you have to fly diagonally in order to somehow dodge his claw or to hit his claw with a fast weapon
not sure if I should do more about that suggestion

4 seconds is a long time when you're constantly under attack
it can easily lead to stun locks
not when it creates a giant minefield around you
He's easy to dodge but 4 seconds of heavily impaired mobility is kind of a strict punishment
In all modes, no less. At least make it like 1 second in Normal and the full 4 in Revengeance
4 seconds of impaired mobility means the core will stunlock you with constant rebuffs of distortion because you cant dodge
I think what would be good is if it goes up by 1 each mode
so 1 in normal , 2 expert, 3 rev, 4 death
it definitely impairs movement, but not entirely negates it
with an accommodating arena, you can navigate while distorted with a hook
against sg core it might as well
anyways u gotta remember iirc that this is a debuff inflicted from a pillar enemy
getting hit even once with distorted is either a death sentence, or you get lucky and it runs out half a second before he rams you again

Restrict the Distorted debuff from the Slime God's Core to expert+ or rev+
this debuff is extremely annoying and is a death sentence if you don't remember to grapple something to dodge the core, which most people aren't going to be able to do unless they have committed it entirely to muscle memory. It is also a debuff inflicted by an endgame enemy from vanilla, and considering how this debuff works, is just unreasonable to have on a boss that isn't even in hardmode.

You could explain that there are ways to deal with Distorted, and more skilled players will be able to deal with it, which is why it's unfair to inflict it in all modes

If we're going to make it more acceptable to get hit by the slime god core, should it also be bigger? Make it easier to hit with various weapons, possibly help it get hit by summons more reliably. If it's bigger, it'll hit the player more often, but also get hit more often. IMO I'd just as soon keep it the way it is though, I like the brutality of the Distorted debuff

yeah when i fight sg the part with only the core goes by incredibly slowly because its nearly impossible to hit it with almost anything at that point
SG's always such a rush to fight, one of my favorite bosses

I haven't heard of any other classes struggling in specific, personally
true melee maybe, although the big issue there is scoring hits with the obsidian swordfish or trying to hit it with a sword. iirc ends up being a pretty crazy fight although I did it more than a month ago.
the alternative is luxor's spam, but that's hardly true melee, or antlion claws fungal, which takes forever

Sharks always feel pretty rare whenever you’re trying to get anything (such as Diving Helmet) specific from them, and I don’t see why their spawn rate feels/is so much lower than Pink Jellies/Sea Urchins.
the shark fins could definitely be replaced with something that drops more commonly

it's literally just a magic carpet and it acts the same as one
