This is a very common suggestion, and at some point we're planning on adding a fix (it may already be in for the next update? I'm not sure)
mostly apparent to the valor, the valor looks alright, then the aegis is goated, so mainly the toggle would be to mask the valor (no offense)

so that it's not as expensive, for one, and also so you can use the recipe to prep for Plant and not need to rely on gen RNG to get your fruits

no matter what mode I'm in the map is always the bg for the fight, but even so in revengance it's way easier to dodge the head charges
like it's a spike in difficulty for the fight

im pretty sure speeding up at 20% isn't a death specific thing
it's just that he's faster throughout the entire fight
he is faster throughout the fight but at 20% health he speeds up even more
the last 20% forces you to up your mobility game
using properly timed dashes, hook slinging, RoD
all of which are more than available to you at that stage of the game
unless you're true melee, there's no reason to be close enough to the head where his speed increase becomes unreactable

@unkempt bolt you're usually a good distance but the speed in which it charges to you is insanely quick
@frosty frost normality relocatior/RoD, Bobbit Hook are good for avoiding the fast charges
using both and still get stuck constantly

Changelogs are insanely difficult to keep updated while developing
the sugg's intention wasn't necessarily to include every single detail about changes, but more make the changes listed more specific so we aren't left guessing
especially with all of the balance changes that occur also
probably because the full changelog is like a big txt file and not something to constantly want to update
maybe when the update is finally released, a channel somewhere could have the specifics of the final cut?

and based on how many people (including myself) are absolutely obsessed with the lore of this world, I think it would be cool if there was a role that let some of those people more directly impact the creation of lore

as for demik, 1. it's not a claim of incompetence or lack of skill (trust me, I am a huge fan of Fabsol and Mrrp's lore writing work). It's more of an observation that, despite the fact that Mrrp said they were going to rework the lore in January, we haven't seen much of a rework yet. I know that Mrrp said they have been having writer's block and I respect that, and with Journey's End just around the corner, a massive collection of things that are planned (I know I'm not the only one who can't wait for a Yharim fight), and the general maintenance of a mod this size, the devs already have an enormous amount on their plates. The only reason I'm pitching this idea is so that they don't have as much on their plates. Fabsol and Mrrp are doing and have done an incredible job as of yet, and I just think that having more hands on deck would help

- It would probably be entirely Fabsol's choice, or there would be some sort of process similar to becoming a mod on the server
- a specific role would let the devs focus on gameplay while the lore writers do lore. the devs still could definitely intervene, and Fabsol and Mrrp's intervention still trumps anything the lore writers would do, but the rest of it would be up to the writers. There is so much in the world of calamity that having a team specifically designated to help organize it would just be really helpful imo.
also, starlight, if/when I do post the suggestion, they can either approve or veto it, deciding whether or not they need people. the suggestion isn't a thing I think needs changing, but instead an idea to help lessen the workload the devs have.

Sometimes, you can run out of underworld shadow chests and not get what you're looking for. Some of the items are needed for later game items, so having them only have a chance of being in your world is not good. With these items obtainable in brimstone crates, they can be obtained if you run out of shadow chests without creating a new world.

A simple circle will get you hit by the orbs spawned by the spinning things around you

Because the Burden Breaker usually makes the player fast enough to out run everything, making bosses near impossible to die to, necessitating its ban from being used in boss fights. DADI mode is the most difficult mode possible, and only those who are truly insane patient can beat it. I was wondering if these two extremes would balance out.

Because of a few small issues in Polterghast’s design, revengeance mode can arguably make the fight easier than in expert mode. hitting multiple segments with Nebulash gets around 90-120 DPS
SE can hit about 800-1500

against moonlords core, with proper equipment, Nebulash did like 1500-1600 DPS and Solar did like 1900
so solar eruption is better?
what gear did you use? just for reference
hydrothermic armor (didnt glass cannon with beetle), celestial shell, fire gauntlet, void of extinction, gelatin, treads, hadal mantle

I don’t think that buffing Solar Eruption is needed, and Nebulash only does like 90-120 dps on Ravager (a pretty heavy defense target) while SE does 900-1200 dps so I think it getting screwed by defense makes it overall worse than SE.
