galeforce is a pre-hm bow made with aerialite bars

for most of exo weapons (afaik atleast) there's barely any weapons that get upgraded from start of hm or before
the only one I recall was Celestus, which used to have Spear of Paleolith and Pwnagehammer, but that got changed
and i'm pretty sure there was a reason to include a mid-upgrade between seashell boomerang and elemental disk, which was also a pre-hm -> post-ml jump

The Providence projectile that lingers on the ground/platform? I propose that it shouldnβt do damage until it lands on said ground/platform.
It sucks to try to dodge the set of globs by jumping over the flame that spawns them just to get booped in the butt by one of the high flying globs.

you can build the hyphae rod before the fight starts
and stack them pretty much as much as you want
there definitely could be a restriction on how many you could have on the field at a time
it's pretty hard to use against EoW due to how the AI works
so like no, not that effective against it

eow was easy
his segments die in one hit from the rod, so he had no feasible way of touching me
he just crumbled
EoW takes some AI manipulation to get the good shit
but when you do get the good shit, the result is just the worm itself imploding
with BoC you don't even need to prepare
in the time it takes for BoC to get near you you've already built up a mostly sustainable minefield of spores
and because BoC is affected by knockback it literally can't touch you
honestly the spore's dps peaks when the bosses are immune to knockback because they can touch every spore at once
as a result it can kill in seconds
both BoC's Creepers and BoC itself just implode against it
free loot
you barely even have to move

i stopped doing it because face monsters scare me
well now you can nuke all of them with the power of Hyphae Rod
I'm not scared of the face monster itself
it's tbe fucking sounds they make

queen should make a passive buzzing noise whenever she's alive just to annoy us
even then, you're still risking getting hit by BoC creepers, so hyphae rod's not the safest option in the world either
the only way you're getting hit by those creepers is if they come from under you
or any other direction because hyphae rod's kb is pitiful
if the come from under you you just jump the other way
they die in 2-3 hits tops anyway
and again, you are given plenty of time to build up a makeshift shield of spores
also if they aren't affected by the hyphae Rod's knockback they run through all of them and die instantly
so either way they just die
the only thing that gets remotely affected is BoC itself, which spins itself into the spores
then because BoC isn't KB immune it literally can't touch you and just dies

not 100% safe, of course (there are definitely ways for Creepers to hit you and in rarer cases BoC itself)
but it's extremely consistent and kills very quickly (consistently under a minute)
boc has the lowest max life of any boss
need I remind you that you can't really facetank with a mage loadout either

every single time it comes out to the 0:30-0:40 region
and every time I do it, it's heavily dependent on where BoC decides to teleport
and sometimes he just wouldn't throw his creepers at you for whatever reason

Make catastrophe drop the Brimstone Flameblaster, not Cataclsym
Currently, Cataclysm drops both of the flamethrowers from the calamitas fight. The Brimstone Flameblaster fires bouncing fireballs, which is similar to catastrophe's attack, so Catastrophe should drop the flameblaster that way both brothers have 1 flamethrower drop and their flamethrowers are similar to the attack of the brother that dropped it.

Change the healthbar system
Reason: Right now, the healthbars tend to get funky in some situations, like ones where a boss has multiple segments or spawns minions (Eater of Worlds, for example). Changing the healthbar to show the boss' segments and projectiles/minions health in total would help rather a lot (except for situations like Calamitas clone, where the bars for the brother's health would be individual, this was suggested some time ago btw). Also, along with the change, another nice thing would be to
Redesign the boss healthbars
Reason: The healthbars now don't seem to fit much with the mod's "style". It looks more like it belongs to a game with a "high-tech" feel and changing it a bit would be nice.

so when your weaker teammates take damage, 25% of that damage is inflicted onto you instead of them

what if both players have the paladins shield in multiplayer?
so the only useful thing in single player is the frozen turtle shell effect it gives

ranger is the easiest class if you need half the world to beat DoG in ranger imagine summoner and sentries with low range you need to get out of their sight again and again and the DoG's body segments will probably not be attacked by sentries

Using Aether's Whisper's ranged alt-fire also gets rid of the mana cost reduction from its modifier when you go back to the magic fire so splitting them sounds good, though you do have the nice option to switch to the ranged fire while you wait for your mana to recharge

You are basically entirely invincible but when fighting bosses, and because that's the only time you can actually die, everything else just feels like a break between bosses

Make most post ml bosses be able to naturally spawn.
This would help keep consistency with the rest of the game. You have random boss spawns but the moment post ml it just abruptly stops.

because you can't rely on dodging or the damage from the shards, as they are a 10% chance, the dodge isn't reliable and you can't prepare for a combat situation with the explosion in mind
as opposed to ink bomb, where you have that strategy to think about
It's not an inherently bad thing, but it detracts from the function of the accessory i feel
Y'know, thinking about it, feels like a whole new way to treat material accessories
Their unique effects being stronger but not accompanied with other stats will make them viable and also increase variety in builds
