From being Influx Waver 2?
It happened with the resprite. I guess Fab wanted the projectile appearances to jive more with the function, and probably also wanted more control over the function rather than relying on vanilla projectiles
also if you want an Influx Waver 2 kind of weapon, except with more thought put into it, use Time Bolt
If viability is your concern then suggest it get a buff or something

I’m not sure but I think I remember someone saying that it’s caused by Terraria rendering the whole player texture if parts of the player is visible when wearing an armor set
Like, for example with Titanium Armor with the Mage or Ranged headpiece, part of the player is visible, so Terraria renders the full player texture

Just had an idea for a RIV of the Inferno Fork
It became a melee weapon (a spear specifically) while retaining its projectile, meaning it could do higher damage up close
The trade-off being the projectile had a cooldown, and both it and the melee part did lower damage on their own
But idk if I can legally suggest that anymore

You'd have to give a reason why you want the upgrade of that item to be in that tier

Not exactly sure. But the last damage dealt seems fair for me. The fact that multiple people kill WoF in the same world, typically results in not only multiple treasure bags, but re-doing the fight a second time ensures 2 people earn their needed emblem.
At least with the change or added change. The treasure bags are always RNG. At least on Expert or higher.

Also as a nohitter, I don't really care about some trophy for nohitting bosses

you can probably obtain that trophy by stabbing scarlet devil at 39 bosses and fargo souls if that item were to exist

The only thing I can see, is adding a nohit mode to a level as opposed to adding it per boss? I'm just not really sure specifically. But should it get implemented, once the player dies by getting hit, game snapshots the screen, then immediately closes the world with a delete.

Nah, cuz Armageddon is convenient for no-hitters and those testing no-hits
Allows you to easily end your fight and retry

So is this a good change to my suggestion:
Add: Check always for nohit and give the rewards of armageddon
Reason: It could give a reward for nohitting a boss without dieing instantly and still giving you a chance to beat the boss
Wording could be a bit better
like "When fighting a boss, give the rewards of Armageddon if you defeat it without getting hit, even if you don't have Armageddon active."

Sounds fair to me. Always got tired of using pickaxes and the basic hammer is actually boring. I'd personally like to see a jackhammer honestly.

The King Slime fight is currently somewhat boring. Nothing really goes on to change the fight. It’s time to change that. So, here’s my proposal for a King Slime overhaul:
Every time King Slime loses 20% HP, he gains a new attack. The attacks all correspond to a color that King Slime will be while performing the attack. This also changes the slimes spawned when hitting King Slime. King Slime changes color every 5 seconds. Here are the colors, their corresponding attacks, the type of slime spawned when King Slime is damaged, and when King Slime starts performing the attacks.
Full HP:
Blue, normal behavior
80%: Pink, jumps extremely high and fires a slow-moving slimeball downwards when above the player. Spawns Pinky when damaged, Pinky has reduced HP.
60%: Jungle Green, shoots waves of spikes upwards like a spiked slime. Spawns Jungle Slimes.
40%: Orange, shoots arcing fireballs that land behind the player. Spawns Lava Slimes.
20%: Gray. Shoots slow-moving rock blasts that inflict Dazed on hit. Spawns Baby Slimes.
In Death Mode, King Slime switches attacks every 3 seconds.
Probably too specific...?

but you have to be that specific person to handle fucking harpies pre boss
