[the fast firing speed is kind of a debuff because you will lose much health]

made by: 100 wood spikes (those you find in the jungle temple), a mussel plate and 20 lizard bricks at a lizard furnace.
pros: does the damage of a post profaned chicken nuggets weapon, isn't a consumable, pierce every enemy and have a firing speed of 1.
cons: does 5 damage when you throw it (damage does have knockback and doesn't reset adrenalin)
what it does: throws 2 saws in a row when you fire a saw you will take damage.
is that better?

Auric Titan (mini-boss)
Spawns rarely underground after Jungle Dragon, Yharon has been defeated.
Custom AI: Tracks down the player and tries to ram into it while shooting fast orange lasers toward the player. If the Auric Titan is blocked, it shoots slower blue lasers towards the player which pass through walls. The Auric Titan can also slam into the ground if airborne, freezing the player and creating a heavy damage shockwave around it. However, this attack has a cooldown. Occasionally, the Auric Titan can teleport to the player’s position. When defeated, the Auric Titan will drop 85-140 Auric Ore in normal mode, increasing amounts in more difficult modes up to a maximum drop amount of 205 Auric Ore in Revengeance Mode.
Why: Auric Ore is limited with the size of the world, and to craft every item using Auric Ore would require ~700 of the material. Although it may be rare, it is possible to run out of Auric Ore, without using duplication methods.
I would love more minibosses

Brain of Cthulhu has the least amount of HP of the Pre-Hardmode bosses (Eye of Cthulhu and King Slime have more) and does the least damage (I think). Buffing those and slightly increasing his movement speed could make him more of a challenge.

it's supposed to provide universal buffs — think Omega Blue — and acts, essentially, as a counterpart to the Auric set
Demonshade is the counterpart to auric
demonshade is to auric as omega blue is to bloodflare
that makes more sense

There is a difference between creating a challenging boss fight, and making something simply unfair.
It is not 'difficult' to beat SCal with True Melee; speaking as someone who has fought and beaten her (after dying 30 times), it is such an absurd idea that I can't imagine how you'd pull it off.
No amount of 'skill' will change the fact that, for huge chunks of that fight, SCal is locked in a position that is way too far away to attack with true melee.
There's a difference between it not being easy, and it simply not being viable, or practically possible.

- High-risk, high-reward. You able to reach immense damage with this weapon, but if you do something wrong, you will get oneshoted by enraged enemy.
- More variety for true melee weapons.
yes, true melee gets cucked by SCal, but that doesnt mean the entire brothers phase has to be revamped to cater to true melee

Want a more well-rounded set for your class? Pick auric tesla

And giving it class helmets would nerf the item, the whole point is for a generalist set
Demonshade is the one that lets you rip everything a new asshole.
Auric Tesla is the one that lets you actually survive while ripping everything a somewhat less impressive new asshole.

I believe the idea of buffing demonshade also comes from the fact auric by itself is extremely powerful offensively set, so the enrage is outshadowed due to unholy decrease in your survivability
The damage gain from enraged demonshade is not that great compared to auric, but you miss out on 1.5 revives and lifesteal
Auric Tesla is much more class-oriented than Demonshade and coupled with God Slayer + Silva revives + all the survivability on the planet, it's easy to see why Auric Tesla can be preferable to Demonshade even in endgame scenarios.

Awarded by the developers (or whoever checks suggestions with over 90 stars) to members that make well-rounded, convincing suggestion after suggestion. They act as role models for future suggestors or for people that just want to add their own thoughts.
Why: one third of suggestions in #suggestions-voting are in, my opinion, lacking. Having a suggestor role would show new members how suggestions are to be structured while also encouraging them to make well-made suggestions.

#suggestions-voting isn't a channel for overhauling and redesigning the mod, it's for making contributions to improve it in some way

Move Mourningstar to post polterghast. Crafted using 1 solar eruption, 3 Cores of calamity, and 2 ruinous souls.
The reason for this is because Mourningstars placement at the moment doesn't make much sense. And in revengance is pretty much outdone by cosmic discharge. Having be post polter would also make it a viable weapon for the devourer.

I don't know for sure but it's like the background isn't syncing with his attacks or the AI isn't syncing correctly with the background color change for the phases. When flying as the bg is pink, he still charges, and when it's blue he's so close to the character that you can't really dodge anything or you get killed almost instantly.
I've probably attempted to fight him about 6 or 7 times at this point, maybe more I wasn't keeping count, but those things were preventing me from killing him. I've gotten to roughly 35% hp almost every single time because of this.
Not above 40% and not below 35%
If possible, you should record one of your attempts and see if you can capture it happening
If there is something desyncing his behavior from his background it could go in #bugs-read-pins, because that's not intended.

Suggestion: Make flying mount descriptions similar to wings, in the sense that they show the speed, flight time, etc of their mount.
Why: It is rather hard to compare mounts to wings outright, and some of those mounts can be very useful. This would help judge a mount's versatility/speed/efficacy.

First off, there isn’t an infinite source of dungeon spikes and wood spikes in the world, making them limited
Second, annoying to collect materials ( getting an infernal blood every time to craft lizard saws sounds annoying)
Third, even with taking damage from them, post wof and post ml strength weapons a few tiers below usual is kind of overpowered, plus you could use the comparatively low damage of the spikes to proc immunity frames and allow tanking, which is kinda jank
