yknow, im probably not gonna include the CalClone bit, because all the main problems Cryo has also applies to them as well (the only change is that CalClone's dashing is more aggressive and leaves semi-lingering projectiles)

It's a bit of a wonky topic because combining keybinds means that most people are expected to either never use those functions together or they do not conflict whatsoever
Why are people so fixed on assigning perfect keybinds to items when the player can assign it themselves anyway
Which is probably why the separate keybinds are so persistent
since they are not conflicting that way and few players who want more concise controls are able to tie them together

To be fair, some will just set everything to default because they don't know better (literally), and then experience discomfort
So a good default set is a good thing to have

For example, lets say (if) Sand Cloak keybind overlap with like, spectral veil or something
On paper it might not make sense (what does sand cloak have to do with teleport), but from another perspective you can just put both on a same easy to press button like Z because there is no situation you use sandcloak and spectral veil together due to their progression difference, so it is just an easy to press button for a preHM accessory

kali is currently the second best weapon in the mod only behind ichor spear so yeah
and then other whips are also crazy

agreed, Lore floating is quite annoying, especially early game when you have to build to get to it
and they drop seperate from the bag so you can't even avoid it by playing expert+ like you can with other floating drops

@violet torrent I think adding Lore items to your suggestion could be good as well, as they also float, and are dropped at a time where the player often doesn't have access to wings or jumps to even get to the items.

i heard something about background effects like that being impossible to implement but i dont know how true that is since noxus mod has something like it
Manipulating/adding sky elements is trivial unless we're talking hyperspecific effects that require mindbending amounts of IL editing
It has the same degree of freedom as any other Draw hook in other contexts. Restarting the spritebatch for shaders there is a bit wonky due to the transformation matrix generally using private data in that context, but none of that would be required to just draw some space rock sprites in the bg

Every time i go to the sulphuric sea my framerate drops significantly and im pretty sure its because of the water lighting (these fps drops happen nowhere else)

When above 50% HP:
The player gains 6 shields, identical to those of Sundowner. The shields take 20 seconds to charge up and are only present when the weapon is being held.
Any enemy that dashes or moves towards the shield while it is active will get bounced back and dealt 250% the damage they would've dealt you. The shields take another 20 seconds to recharge after one use. Every time this weapon is not held, the charge timer resets to 20 seconds (and starts ticking down the moment the weapon is held). If the player regenerates their health up to 50% (while having had less than 50% prior to this), the charge timer will be present.
The weapon itself functions as 2 very bulky blades that are able to swing independently. Swinging any one of the blades will nudge the player in the direction the blade is swung in. When RAGE is used, the Pincer Blades charge forwards and backwards in an alternating tempo, stabbing and mutilating whatever happens to be in front of them. This ability disappears as soon as RAGE runs out.
When under 50% HP:
The pincer blades now form a pair of giant shears! Use left click to swing the blades up and down. Charge up a splitter attack by holding down RMB for 1.5 seconds, closing the shears, making the player dash forward and dealing insane damage while temporarily gaining immunity frames (does not work on projectiles). This charge ability has a 20 second cooldown, regardless of whether or not an enemy has been hit.
After a successful strike using the splitter dash attack, the player gains +15% melee speed.

Freshwater flats sounds like a good biome. I mean adding a boss and it's own biome is a bit of a stretch, but like, it doesn't have much of an impact on the game, and the boss is just a mini boss. It could just be a big pond that counts as a biome
We are already overloaded with bosses, and the Surface isn't exactly spacious after HM
