gunk shot is a reference to a pokemon move that also shotgun at the enemy, it is kind of a shit reference but it is a reference
meanwhile shotgunk is a literal shotgun with k added at the end because the original name is gunk shot therefore the suggestor wanted it to be rearranged without consideration that it will completely lose its original reference and meaning just because it is "easier to read"
didn't they discourage adding references from other game or whatnot
it will be like if Murasama is renamed to like "Musamara" or something, assuming the later is easier to read
they discourage suggestion from adding new reference but I think removing old reference is pretty much decided by the devs or unless the suggestion make a really good point
I think in this case it is just shotgunk is a not good alternative to the reference removal that they must honour the suggestion accordingly because the suggestion specified it must be renamed to "shotgunk", and not any other options

Excalibur is definitely True Melee, but Nights Edge isn't because you can run the other way and the projectile lingers behind. Notice you don't have to face the wall of flesh to attack it.
Most melee weapons don't swing only in the direction you are facing anyways. So your point is pretty invalid
Also true melee is lame(the one that just swing normally and have an effect upon hit, not the Excalibur or nights edge since they look cool).
Calamity should make their true melee at least have special swing animations.

acid rain: dive deep into sulphurous seas and collect things rooted in the canals
pirates: flying dutchman's primary objective will be capturing town NPCs, if no town NPCs remain before the ship dies the event is cancelled prematurely and the thing despawns

It sounds like your problem is mostly Yharon charging during sun bullet hell so focus on that
Scal is partially because she dont deal as much damage compare to yharon or exo imo
As I personally agree the bullet hell into dash is very very difficult hence why I use NR for it every single time to avoid the issue entirely
Except for her dash her damage number is very forgiving
That and auric tesla 10 hp heal every like 5 second
Yharon eats your hp with evey hit
exos being nearly free and giving you draeheart REALLY doesn't help her case either
every class gets one or two good weapons, a broken mount, and a broken accesory from draedon
so its easy to see why
Bullet hell into dash is more of a matter of positioning that is very unintuitive to spot, hence people just fall down a lot to try to dodge bh but end up having random spread bh projectile

Except for specifically SP4/5 most of it is definitely very very dodgeable with BH + charge occuring at the sametime, you just have to find space horiozontally to ram, which means you should also move horizontally during BH so that you can ram
or you can just dodge the BH first by moving towards the centre before dodging charges, works too
the one thing you should not do is just try to move as far away as possible because then the bh projectile just become untraceable
