Meaning that you need perfect control of every unit to make proper use of all your cav

meaning that you'll need to cycle charge them while targeting the right enemies and removing them from dangerous missile fire

In low budget battles bretonnia can struggle against dark elves, because they have cheap spearmen and AP archers

Making a big chunky frontline works in Medieval 2, but not in warhammer

in warhammer at higher tiers of play people spread out their frontline massively

Because even if there is no fielded arty a well-placed WoD takes out several hundred melee infantry

There are a lot of ways to cheese AI

If your faction has good towers on their high level walls, you can win entire battles while having your troops kill barely anything

Lizardmen play around their big boys

Their early game infantry is passable, because saurus warriors are very strong vs non-armoured enemy infantry

They're also very expensive, which is why I play skink skirmish instead sometimes

Saurus warriors with shields are around 700, the cost of nearly 2 units of empire spearmen

Without their beasts the lizardmen are nothing

Stegadons are very, very strong

Without anti-large your chances of taking it out are slim

dwarves just shit on people with their infantry

I mean the entire reason to play lizardmen is because you like dinosaurs stomping on shit

Literally all of their infantry is armoured, and they also have very good anti large

Meaning that they're a good matchup against lizardmen, actually

If you fight dwarves...

Bring heavy anti-armour, and you get arty/heli spammed

The only notable disadvantage dwarves have is having no cav

You don't have tools to chase around archers or enemy cav other than your helis

If you play against bretonnia, you know what to expect

Shit ton of cav, and swarms of shitty infantry

If you play vs lizardmen, you can expect a lot of beasts

Dwarves just kinda break the game in that regard

dark elves also very good

They do lose out to high elves in a lot of regards tho

but this is all MP

if you don't play MP you can get away with almost anything really

Yeah I love it. Have made a lot of friends from in the community over the years. It’s definitely not for everyone but it is quite enjoyable and easy to play. It’s a game you don’t have to give your full attention if you don’t want to, can easily train and do various other activities while watching shows, playing other games, studying etc
