Most basic enemies are killed by a single center-mass shot, and even then bot troopers almost always go down to a single shot hitting anything but the lower arms. And the heavy armor pen allows it to kill devestators more efficiently than any other sidearm and even most primaries, or a single headshot, but most other high DMG primaries can do that. It can also kill hulks with two shots to the eye, though that's rather difficult under battlefield conditions

To be clear I'm not sure I ever actually have, but I pull out my secondary out of reflex before remembering I don't have a pistol

I know this is a me problem rather than a weapon or loadout issue

I have used the ultimatum against bots though, as it's more useful there

The expendable Napalm launcher is fantastic for area denial and ad clear, the solo silo is basically a guided 500KG (only with slightly lower demo force) meaning it can kill almost any enemy with a direct hit, the pineapple grenade is another phenomenal ad clear weapon, and I already explained the spear gun and coyote

I don't much care about the armor passive though

Honestly the solo silo is an absolutely phenomenal pick for defense missions

the defoliation tool isn't good, in part because you're not a space marine, and in part because it's a stratagem rather than a secondary

the maxigun looked awesome on release but in hindsight i think everything in python commando is kind of hot dog

in contrast, everything out of dust devils is good

well, maybe not the pineapple, but if you're not running gas, thermite, or dynamite, are you really gaming
