My launcher was originally stuck on just "Offline Mode", meaning I could launch GTA V, but because it couldn't authenticate, it would just kick me out. Afterwards, I tried deleting the Social Club folder (From Documents >> Rockstar Games >> Delete Social Club) in hopes it would fix it for some reason, but now it just gives me this when loading the launcher.

I should note the obvious that I am obviously on a internet connection, tried restarting my PC and even tried restarting my router entirely. Any help for this would be appreciated

Hi I cannot play Online.

I mean I can click Online from the home screen menu, or switch my character to Online and join a session, but I'm alone there and no one is in the Player list. I have tried switching sessions ("Find new public session") multiple times, but every time, there's no one else in the session. I also have tried switching to different Wi-Fi networks but there's no difference. I tried disabling my laptop's and router's firewall, but nothing happens. My friends say I'm really lucky to be playing alone in Online, but I want to play with other people online. I also tried using a VPN (NordVPN) to switch my location to US and Singapore, but nothing seems to change. I even tried obfuscated servers but no luck either. I also tried messing with my router's settings but its firmwares look really outdated and i suck at these router stuffs. I can log into Rockstar Social Club just fine and make purchases in "Online" sessions, but there's just no one in there.

i have a R7 5700X, 16GB RAM, 1650super 4GB, and a slow old HDD. could i run gtao at max?

up until i got the 16gb ram, i had really bad stutters which made gtao unplayable (mainly my hdd's fault for being old and slow lol but the ram helps)

Means local, as in “data on your pc”. Rockstar saves your online data on some servers, while your story mode progress is saved after you enable cloud saves.

So, deleting local profile is harmless, as Rockstar states those files are generated next time you open your game.

Bruh, my GTA on steam simply forgot where its installation files are and is now asking me to update (it's probably a redownload, since the size is 105.59 GB). That happens often with any games on steam you have to just update that it is moving it from one disc to another disc due to issues on the current disc

How do you fix the bug where after you finish and mission and join a new session, you just see a black screen? But you can see the players leaving, killing popups on the bottom left

That’s actually game’s p2p problem. Somebody with high ping is stopping you from loading (actually slowing you). I just use solo public method (resource monitor) and load session myself. If i wanna play with others, i can always switch session.
