im not too sure how this relates to discord.js. are you having any issues with discord.js specifically? or running plain javascript files in your vps?

I have created a script in JS for a discord bot so it can assign roles when you type in a command. It's more related to Ubuntu ngl. I'm probably missing some modules or something to make it run indefinetely.
