our orbital drop troops also have their eyes on them and our larger vessels can tank 7-9 Hits (and have a good amount of crew who can repair them) but its definetly a thing to keep in mind

STEP 3: Have engineers ready to patch up tanks to prepare to deal with the main bot force of tanks
also, 2 of the bot tansk on each side are AA tanks
which therefore means
each side only has 2 active threats
and means we should be able to rush em and OBLITERATE them
we C A N N O T allow those gunships to join the fight
we dont have enough AA to deal with it

engage a larger force by killing it part by part with our full bulk

Those fortification are gonna be a problem idk about our strategy but we should focus on those enemies self propelled gun
Because if robots don't know exactly how to dig in that means their weaker that expected
Question is: we have two of those in range for us two. Do we focus fire on 1 or split fire?
I think targeting one is a safe bet not only because of low roles but they may be pretty tanky too better one disabled than both of the somewhat damaged
But that's my opinion and I am open to other suggestions too

@craggy peak @wintry coral I think we should hold position and fire upon the infantry. We can not push up to fire at the SPA until we clear that line. We will take too much damage
I also suggest that we (on the north side) keep together and attempt to sweep around the northern flank of the bot forces. If we can do that in a timely manner, we can cut off reinforcements and come up on the southern line's rear.
Mobility is life for Mechs. I advise ending the next turns at least two tiles away from our current position.

The Mechs will most likely not be able to survive going into the trench line of doom and despair
As long as we can survive the fire from the bots, we can just waltz through the line unbothered
With that, I would go the long way around and just avoid the trench line altogether if possible

I feel like its still a bad idea, I mean we need those supplies to stay in the fight to repair until the rest of the force shows up or until we break their lines. It's as dumb as sending logi trucks to the front... if supplies didn't poof when they were on thr ground I'd say at least offload first, but alas we can't do that. I mean we have 0 ways to resupply and nearly all our supplies is at the front...

Alright, it's probably best if we stay roughly in the same spot then so that I can keep pounding the enemy inf and you can be there for the damaged tanks next turn

Considering how little aa or air forces of our own the entire army has, we gotta do something abt those factories. Now that most forces have been ID' I'm not sure how practical digging in inf on the hill is anymore. We are still two turns away from capping the factories, assuming we bee line for it.

Perhaps if catalyst, ward, and I push middle, just behind the armored force there, behind our super tank and what not, we can prolly push hard into factory, then cap it the turn after, with relative safety, without diverting forces from elsewhere.
Tho, I would suggest the tanks focus on vehicles and targets further away cause I think only one of our ifvs is upgraded with range 2, so to prevent wasted firepower we could take the inf that are just outside the factory this turn.
