Do one of our mech pilots on Lonely want to com over to the friendly light freighters and invite them to join us?
i still would offer to deploy bombers so if we run face first into another enemy ship - we can engage it immediately
that could work
it probably wouldn't change much - but they will get to either move another hex or land after bombing run in case of close contact

yeah, they have 6 speed, that wouldn't be a problem
It would kind of make sense for them to man weapons while they're still in space. I never even thought about that. Mech pilots are kind of one of the most efficient crew units

Equipment question. I oopsed and ended up with armory and arc mount as my equipment. I am acting as gunner for Lonely. Does that give the autocannon an arc firing radius, or is it fixed?

You’d just need end of movement, turning costs were removed, so your starting facing isn’t really relevant, and would already be present on the map

Yep! Panther can scan. And you should be in range of the question marks. I think Atlas is going for the battle cruiser and the large question mark
But we can get more details if we scan specifically for Hits, Armor, Weapons, Crew numbers, and that sort of thing so multiple scans can be worthwhile

Elim City is three separate strategic points, including 3 separate high orbit points/tactical maps. So it takes 3 moves on the strategic layer to get above the starport to scan.

If there's a chance we end up in Elim West with our movement (or Central with a burn), I would recommend simply putting 'Wherever the fleet is' for end location

FYI for y'all. After reviewing the maps: Elim is a specific set of nodes on the orbital map. So it's gonna take some time to get there. We don't want to delay our landing any longer than we have to. We're most likely (pending the vote) going to speed past you guys. So if you want to try other maneuvers don't feel bound to us

Going towards bot occupied space to scout is also an option
If we find out that there are enemies on the way to or at the mining station the NPC transports can't get there with our BGs

yes, it doesn't cost movement, and they moved the minimum 3.5 range to maintain evasive
that's not a problem, they can stay in relatively safer position to the 'north'

It’s possible you can just move them since you aren’t on a tactical map. Either by non combat shuttles or inferred docking

Due to there being boarding bots I dont want to break my dig in order unless absolutely necessary. So I will leave repairs to the others.

Being able to transfer crew between ships is huge
At this point we have three issues:
- The Warren being boarded, 4 fs + 6 fs in two different places. We could send Warpit and Panther to it, and use two crews against the 4 fs and two infantry against the 6 fs, so 6vs4 and 12vs6. And then also send CommieCat to heal anyone getting injured, priority to the crew since they have lower hp overall.
- The Lonely is burning (amongst other things). They have Draconius, Alx and Frostinite who have three actions, one to extinguish the fire, and two to spend the two repair kits and bring the lonely back up to full.
- Storm has encountered fighters above Elim. Our current anti fighter capabilities are our hmgs, since our fighters have to spend the turn to land and rearm. If Storm choses to rush ahead, there's nothing we can do to protect them at this time, but we could then use the distraction (callously said) to send our two bombers to strike the frigate at least. One big issue being, the Warren can't man it's hmg due to ... problems :p
And additionally, we gotta spend our first LS this turn to resupply our fighters

We can make formation of fighters and bombers and scale up perceived danger of our attack on their ship
Bots would see an airwing of 6 aerospace - they wouldn’t know that fighters are harmless and would be forced to react
the only thing I dont like about that plan is that some of our fighters are damaged and we have no idea what those 4 modules are

well evem withj 4 of the fighters intercepting 4 vtols, the remaining 15 vtols have about a 70% chance of one shotting the frigate

Sadly Storm doesn't have the Speed to both engage Vulture and make landfall. We really want to get our ground units down before something bad happens. If the frigate gets closer to us we will by all means fire upon it.
Fluffle can also ignore the frigate and make landfall if we want. That would give our fighters time to reload and pick off the enemy fighters next turn if they follow us into atmo
Help out the ground forces, so they can take the star port
Not this turn though. We're only speed 3. We can only go into the zone, but not far enough to reach the planet

We can. If the infantry engage the bots, my crew can stay on the guns. Every unit shipped over to the Warren can be armed, even if they don't usually carry weapons

The frigate can't land, and they go speed 2 so we can make a plan of attack. They're weapons will have the similar ranges to ours

Alright, and some math since things are quiet and I just want to lay it down:
Enemies have 8 hits of fighters and (presumably) 7 hits of frigate. Fighters seem to be the most dangerous to us right now.
On turn one we can have: 2 hmgs, 1 autocannon shooting = 3 damage, only fighter since frigate is too far away for our orbital weapons
On turn two we can have: 2 hmgs, 2 autocannons, 2 bombers, 4 fighters shooting = 10 damage, 4 anti orbital, 6 anti fighter = all fighters should be dead by then if we're really lucky
On turn three we can have: 2 hmgs, 2 autocannons = 4 damage, 2 orbital 2 fighter = the enemy frigate wouldn't die yet.
Attacking with the bombers on turn one can allow us to have another 2 anti orbital damage on turn 3, which could be enough to kill that frigate one turn earlier than we otherwise would.
Of course that's assuming everything hits and goes perfectly, but accounting for bad luck or misses is a job for Leveller my fighter pilot :p

Alright, the Triple crew's orders are agreed upon 🙂 the bombers will stay back for now and hopefully line up two bombing runs on the frigate afterwards. Warpit and Commie are going to the Warren on the Starboard deck against the 6FS enemy. Pizza is manning the Triples hmg. Figthers are landing and rearming themselves.
And for positionning, I suggest we move in a straight line towards the frigate, as close as possible
