What are some good books for A1 learners like me hoping to make that A1-A2 switch with the help of reading

I got the Short stories in german book by Olly Richards and while it helps a bit, it's a bit advanced for me

I would suggest "Die Drei Fragezeichen". I think the vocabulary is rather simple and the storyline easy to follow.

maybe a childrens book for example a fairy tale which you read in your mother tongue so you kinda know the storyline and stuff 🙂

I think it is understandable that you can comprehend very little books now. You have just too little vocabular yet. Nonetheless the channel Storytelling from yt have told, that it is still good to read and listen a language, even tho you don't understand a thing because then you passively become to understand the whole system.
