#Are my US degrees worth less in Austria (and the EU)?

I'm going to graduate university in the USA, as an American, with a bachelor's and master's in English. Do I translate or get a statement of comparability through ENIC/NARIC? Is an American degree good in Austria (and the EU)? Some sites say it's "competitive" but idk if that's true or bs.

To add to this, it may be likely you'll have to go through a process of them recognising certain qualifications

That's true for Croatia at least and I wouldn't be surprised if it was also true for Austria
