Hi there! Would anyone know any social media channels/apps for social events in Germany?

I think no average German will use something like the MeetUp app. I would recommend searching "Veranstaltungstipps [Region ; City]"

I did meet Germans with MeetUp but yes it's usually people who are also interested in language learning.

I would go to language cafes to reach like B1-B2 and then pick & go to events that either involve cooperation or for example thematic stuff which you are really interested in to eventually make hobby-related contacts.

I just saw that you are like Level C. I mean if you are fluent in German, clubs are your best bet imo, but I guess this is more about finding events in general. I think most folks will probably use Facebook Events or a Veranstaltungstipps-Kalender if anything
