Can someone help me navigate the German Uni-Assist program?

I'm trying to apply to a German university with the Uni-Assist software, I'm missing some critical paperwork but I don't know what I need or how to get it.

It also says I should take an internship or something but I have no idea how to apply for that either.

If anyone wants to help the stupid American become a little less stupid that would be much appreciated.
