first off: grammatically there are no mistakes, but it doesn't sound very idiomatic

the first sentence would be constructed with the futur 1, as in: "Von nun an werde [...] aufschreiben, die ich nicht kenne, und werde [...] zu den Wörtern machen.", it's a promise / intention and that usually is done with the future form

the last sentence in german just sounds weird, a native wouldn't say that.

"Auf diese Weise bin ich weniger abgelenkt (vom Lesen)."
"Auf diese Weise werde ich beim Lesen weniger oft unterbrochen."
"So kann ich mich besser aufs Lesen konzentrieren." >> i'd prefer this
