I don't think languages are so simple. Sure, I'm native in polish, I speak it better than most people and I have developed an intuition. But polish people notice my accent, they notice that I use weird idioms not common in polish

I could maaaaaaaaybe understand an argument which goes like this:

Native speakers are the definition of a language, since language is what people speak, not what grammar books say. So if native speakers say something "wrong", it's the grammar books that are actually wrong.

Obviously this argument has its limits, because at which point/threshold does the definition change? When "most" people say it differently? Is that when grammar books have to be amended? Don't want a single person who misunderstood grammar to redefine grammar I guess.

Still, languages simple evolve over time. But I doubt Flicaille tried to raise this point.

Das könnte teilweise heißen, dass sie ihre Muttersprache nicht ganz und gar beherrschen. Bin auch kein Maßstab. Ich kenne auch nicht 100% der Lexik meiner Sprache. Andererseits, die Grammatik beherrsche ich. Zusätzlich, hab schon erwähnt, ich hab nichts gegen diese Leute/ hab halbungrammatische Menschen kennengelernt, die richtig brilliant in ihrem Bereich sind usw..
