It's not magic. It probably was intuitive. If the information is in front of you and you just have to put it together, well, you can't really blame someone for seeing that. It's not because they're a genius. It's because it's the logical next step to the idea.

Most things follow patterns. People who enjoy patterns become very good at spotting them.

You like patterns, you enjoy solving problems, you do it in your free time, you think about it a lot, and in the end, you become skilled at seeing those things.

They just give you only the necessary grammar as you progress. It is a friendly way to approach the language. The problem is that your comfort is small.

Comfort zone. You have the control while you are ordering something in the restaurant, but if something happens (a fly in the soup, or a mistake on the bill, ect) you lost the control because those books does not teach you about these situations.

That is why i think an equilibrium is important. Between conversational ones an grammatical ones, so u can build your own sentences.

Hat jemanden ein geiles vegetarisches Rezept? Ich versuche gerade, auf Fleisch die Hälfte der Woche zu verzichten. Wenn es gut läuft, vllt komme ich auch bald komplett ohne Fleisch aus
