No, I'm just messing with you. ❤
So. What do we tackle next? 🤔
You pick. Declensions, cases, weird word choices.
LOL
runs
yes
Again you choosing the 153454953495th result. Berichten = report.
Because at least I have forgotten the original by now:
The rich lady, whose fat husband I saw yesterday, bought me the pretty flowers that I told you about.
Erzählen, I knew the word already lel
Then why didn't you use it? 🤔
I'm back
One is for telling a story (erzählen) and the other for reporting (berichten).
no
what is the grammatical difference between those
let's say that
and why did you pick berichten
I dunno, it was the first I saw
erzählen is also a verb with a inseparable prefix, correct?
Yep.
what is the difference between those?
because if there is no difference
why are there two versions
I searched at first "tell about"
yes
His main question is how many objects does each word take.
And then "tell"
Yeah.
Wasn't the one for reporting as a patrol or idk, for reporting. The second is just to tell basic stuff as "ey look I saw a cat today"
no
flapps
don't overthink it
really
i just want you to point out
when you look at both versions
what is different between those
Flops. How many objects are ther in give someone something?
You mean which cases they take? 👀
Ahahahaha, okay.
No, I mean what I said. How many objects are there in this sentence: Ich habe Flops ein Buch gegeben
Possible answers
A) 1
B) 2
C) 3
D) I don't know what objects are
E) I don't know how to identify the objects in a sentence
F) Both D and E
Pick one. 😛
anyone here playing overwatch with the voiceover in german?
I would say D eh. I even don't remember what it is.
Ok
The Object is the noun that is affected by the verb
While the Subject is the doer of the verb
So in the case of something like "I gave the kid an apple"
You have two objects
since your action affects both the kid (He gets an apple) and the apple (It has been given from you to the kid)
Is that clear Flopsel?
Ahhh, okay.
So
2 objects.
How many objects does "berichten" take?
It's kind of easy to forget so there is that
Solet, idk really, I didn't know the term
I'd say 2.
I'd say you're wrong
Because it's only the receiver of the information who ich "dir" in this case. Or dich. I don't remember.
That's cruel arrem
Now do the other one.
Let's stay at baby steps
How is it cruel, it's what we're going for. 🤔
then remind her of her mistake afterwards
I don't know really, it just feels like highlighting the mistake this clearly is a bit mean
You are correct flappy
Yeah you say that it's highlighted but I don't see it. Lucky you.
Flappu
I wasn't highlighting any mistakes. I just posted the picture for reference and repeated what you already said. 🤔
Answer the question
I want to say one as well.
Fair enough Arrem, don't think about it too much, I'm just being dumb here 😅
I want to say that you're wrong
Which one, Flops?
The receiver as well.
What's the object in etwas berichten?
The dir?
What dir?
Where's the dir in etwas berichten?
Two words. One is the object, one is the predicate/verb.
oh, that's good pengu
Yes.
Correct
But this isn't going anywhere and that question shouldn't take so much thinking, so I'd suggest taking a moment to recap.
Fair enough
I'm pretty confused as to what's going on

We're explaining objects to flappy
we found out, floppsel didn't know what objects are
Ohhh I see

@pine ginkgo Don't be cruel lol
which could be a determining point of why flopssel always chose the worst possibilites from the dictionary
what
i am letting arrem and ninja handle this
so i don't have to be cruel
heterothodox :D
SHHH
To quote: "The object is the noun that is affected by the verb" It might have been the explanation that confused you, but objects aren't limited to nouns. Things that carry an action out are called subjects and are found in nominative. Things that the action is carried out on are the objects and are in accusative or dative. "Things" is of course imprecise, but it can be anything, most commonly nouns and pronouns. Of course, a verb can never be a subject or an object, since the verb is the action we're carrying out.
Thus, in etwas bekommen, the bekommen is the predicate/verb and the etwas is the object, because the etwas is being targeted by the verb.
In jemandem etwas geben, both jemandem and etwas are the objects. The jemand is getting something and the etwas is being given to him.
The same concept carries over to full sentences as well.
Ich gebe Floppsel ein Buch. => ich = subject, Floppsel = object (DAT), Buch = object (ACC)
Shit.
You know, you could have said that you didn't understand when I asked you
lol
Thank you. ❤
Usually you'd call Floppsel the indirect object and ein Buch the direct object
😂
Ninja, that's main problem. I hate saying that I don't understand so I search blindly.
And I must eat.
You need to stop having a life outside of translating, flappy
It's fairly obvious to us when you don't understand things. And it's more embarassing to guess around for an hour than to simply ask. 😛
^ true
Flappy, it won't do you any good if you shy away from such things, part of the reason why I mess up so often as a "C" Level, is because I never asked about simple things
When you're back, you can identify the objects in jemandem von etwas erzählen.
Jemandem and etwas. 2.

Good. So the thing that Solet was aiming for is that you'll always need the same amount of subjects in your English sentence and your German sentence. Which is a pretty big hint that berichten doesn't work. It takes 1 object and you need 2.
Ah, so erzählen?
Keeping that in mind, let's try rewriting the sentence using jemandem von etwas erzählen, yes.
Die reiche Dame, deren dicke Mann ich gestern sah, hat mich die schönen Blumen gekauft, die ich dir erzählte.
What happened to the von? 🤔
Oh yeah.
left at eating table
In the correct spot, if you please.
why von not "über"
because life reasons
mh, not sure there is any difference, pengu
Flappy, stay focused on the question please
don't think there is any semantic difference
but obviously grammar wise it can change
Start with the preposition. Kinda like The old lady, whose husband I saw yesterday, bought me the flowers, about which I told you And pay extra attention to your cases.
No I was just too lazy to type out the rest of it.
Ah.
There. 😛

Die reiche Dame, deren dicke Mann ich gestern sah, hat mich die schönen Blumen gekauft, von die ich dich berichtete.
Wooo I am not sure.
What case does von take?
And why are we back to berichtete. Stop copypasting please.
Just write the last sentence
yes let me do that
Yes, I'm fine with you only writing the clause we're working on, but please write it out completely instead of just copying in old mistakes.
Die reiche Dame, deren dicke Mann ich gestern sah, hat mich die schönen Blumen gekauft, von der (dative for von right) ich dir erzählte.
WAIT NO.
Den for Blumen.

Good Flopper. But what is the den in that sentence. Is it an article or something else?
It's the flowers.
Nou that's not what I meant. Is it an article or a relative pronoun?
Waiting.
Denen?
Aaaaaaaa. Yes. Great job.
Woooo.
Die reiche Dame, deren dicke Mann ich gestern sah, hat mich die schönen Blumen gekauft, von denen ich dir erzählte.
Why do I feel like "hat mich die schönen Blumen gekauft" is wrong
pengu showing off his c-skills
Oh, now that I look at it again
:P
I know why 😄
Sure is. But what?
What is "it" referring to?
Can't be nominative.
Can't be genitive as well.
prefect
so you have 2 choices and nothing that would forcefully change a case (like a preposition)
Put the correct cases
I think it's dative, but I am looking foward why it should be.
well
well, one of them has to be, but which one
I told you, flappy, always ask the two questions
I don't think it's the flowers, because they are the direct object
But you bought the flowers for me, and then me is indirect
take arrem's example as proof Ich gebe Floppsel ein Buch
good call, pengu!
Thank you captain Solet
Die reiche Dame, deren dicke Mann ich gestern sah, hat mir die schönen Blumen gekauft, von denen ich dir erzählte.
next mistake ™
I don't know if there is something wrong with it, it looks fine to me
A tiny thingo.
oh

bad pengu now
wow
i gonna mark you C- now
After relative pronouns in genitive, we have to use the strong declension. You can kinda think that the relative pronoun isn't an article for the following noun, but a connector, and the noun remains there without any article, and defaults to the strong declension. So instead of doing deren dicke Mann, we have to pay attention to the actual case of the Mann in that sentence and apply the correct declension.
Aww, ninja. ❤
Awww, don't Pengu! We learn everyday.
^
Fair enough, you're special.
AND I AM A FOX WHO LEARNS GERMAN.
Not all birds fly. 😢
Wow.
Nothing I'm just quoting a section of a grammar book.
Ah lel.
I don't know if you're ready for that. 😶
Ready for what?
German.
We don't need someone else asking at 4 am to construct a sentence in passiv plusquamperfekt

For trying to decipher a detailed grammar reference.
That was a real nightmare
Oh true.
If you are still learning what objects are, plainer grammar books are probably more suitable.
But you could try it...
lol the passiv plusquamperfekt
I hope I still have the 2 books Arrem gave me the link.
That one was mitch
oh right
The 4 am one was an A-Level, but I can't remember who
It was my fault tbh, since he asked for a grammar book and I recommended hammer's
So what's the declension then?
Yeah you should've recommended duden's
Mann is uuuuuuh.
2- Identify whether it's a strong or weak adjective
3- Identify the appropriate ending
And I already did 2 for you.
^
No
gets popcorn
It's in the paragraph he wrote:
After relative pronouns in genitive, we have to use the strong declension. You can kinda think that the relative pronoun isn't an article for the following noun, but a connector, and the noun remains there without any article, and defaults to the strong declension. So instead of doing deren dicke Mann, we have to pay attention to the actual case of the Mann in that sentence and apply the correct declension.
we have to use the strong declension
So no genitive.
yeah
I need to have the sentence wait
the Mann can't be genitive. Otherwise it would be Mannes. 😉
"The rich lady, whose fat husband I saw yesterday, bought me the pretty flowers that I told you about."
Learned that the hard way
True though Arrem.
Or the easy way 🤔
Can't be nominative then because the subject is "ich"
Correct
Final answer?
weeeee
Ayy Flops got something right.
Dammitflops.
floppsy, memories of a goldfish
Why en of all the things? 🤔
🤷 thought that it was okay because I actually remembered that den: -en
Btw, try not using question marks when giving us answers
It is okay. I just wanted an explanation. 😛
Btw, try not using question marks when giving us answers
Arrem and Solet are witnesses that I do that everytime.
ask questions for things you want to know
do statements for things you want to do
ask things, when you need an answer to do stuff
do things to know if you are correct or not
So I think it's -en.
We'll still correct you either way, but questions make the corrector hesitate, since they can't know whether you think what you wrote is right or wrong
Ok, now write the full sentence
Die reiche Dame, deren dicken Mann ich gestern sah, hat mir die schönen Blumen gekauft, von denen ich dir erzählte.
pfffiou
Judges?
Solet, Arrem, we call for you.
Not me? 😦
I give you a 6/10 for the full journey
i am not participating
Can you provide us with a score Luna?
Sorry Casca, forgot you. D:
i give you 10/10 for insanity inducing
And all the natives by the way.
^^
OH WHAT WHO
4 hours and 36 minutes since the first translation
Yeee Casca. ❤
A girl's got to eat is the phrase, I think.
Nuuuh, I wasn't slacking off. 😦
Eating, and then momma calling for me, stuff like that

"Teacher I wasn't slacking off, my collegue Piérre called me, and also Maria, Fleur, Georgia, Annette"
You know a lot about French names, don't you. 😛
Jean-Luc.
Christian-Jean-Alexandre.
The most french name ever is Pierre
I go for 20 mins and then another translation.
Or Monsieur Baguette
I might join for the next translation, but I'll likely be busy
"baguette baguette"
Honhonhon
Ay she did it.
She always does.
Or does she? 🤔
Anyway, Floppser, I think we should take a more structured approach to this. Instead of just randomly translating sentences where you make a bunch of mistakes and are told a whole lot of new information that you promptly forget, we should try to focus on individual concepts until you get the hang of them. And not just through translations, but through exercises as well.
I agree with that
Hey
Hi
Mmm she isn't even here, nice.
Mmmh oki dokie.
Lol
Exercises then.
Want some now? 😛
YES
WER SCHREIT DA
LOL
Alrighto. We'll work by the book, but if you have questions or other things you'd like to focus on or learn about (e.g. school things), feel free to tell us. I'll take the liberty of skipping the first 4 chapters because they're memes and seeing what you know about imperatives. Have you seen them before?
What book?
Imperative? Like "SLEEP NOW"?
Yes, but ignore that one 😛
okay
http://www.prsformusicfoundation.com/docs/408/Schenke - Seago - Basic German.pdf That one. You might already be past it, though.
I was talking to hen. 😛

As for you, I don't know. It contains the basics and we've already mentioned 90% of the things in it, but I'd still like to go over everything slowly again, just to make sure that you have a solid foundation.
Anyway, do you know which three forms the imperative can take?
I agree with arrem though, step-by-step knowledge building is better than trying to learn new concepts based on exercises.
@sudden panther That's doubtful
Which is why you should pay attention to class, Fläpporz
Even if you find it too eez.
And possibly read additional material, like the one the wiener dude has recommended
Bur subordinating clauses
answer arrem, flaps
wew he questioned me?
Anyway, do you know which three forms the imperative can take?
3 forms? You mean du, sie and uuuh I forgot the 3rd. I wanted to say wir but saying an order to ourselves is odd.
Also, unless you're a criminal, I asked you a question instead of questioning you. 😉

Ordering ourselves is indeed weird. Although it can be 'faked'. Any other guesses?
I'd go with du/ihr/sie. I think.
Correcto. Except it's Sie and not sie. The polite form of you has the imperative, not she/they.
Oh yeah.
So, let's try translating eat more vegetables to all of those three forms. We'll start with the du.
Good you just put essen which is a strong verb. Arrem clever.
Blame the book. I don't feel like making up my own examples this late. 😛
I wanted to say "aß" and then I was like "did I invent a new word again"
^None of which are what you're looking for. Check the conjugator if you're not sure.
conj essen
Except the site is weird and iß shouldn't be listed first because it's the old spelling. Use iss instead. ß should only come after long vowels.
Yus or diphthongs
Read the site again.
Write the three sentences

Why does it list the first person plural? Thought that wasn't a thing in imperative
I actually tried to not do that, Mika, and then I will see again
Dors bien. I'm off.

Good night, Casca.
Good night @fair iron
But actually seeing that I forgoy about imperative makes me a little bit sad. I learnt it months ago and mastered it. Holidays really killed my German.
Good night Casca.
@cold vessel It's equivalent to English let's ...
Wow it's esst instead of isst. 👀
You'd usually fake the imperative for 1st person plural using lass uns.
You can't say I am almost B1 at this rate.

LEL
I never said that. 😛
yep
You can't say I am almost B1 at this rate.
Less being sad, more learning.

Dat discipline.
Anyway Flops, yes, the imperative for the 2nd person plural is the same as the indicative form. It's only the 2nd person singular that actually varies.
I saw that and it helps.
Man I don't know what I'm saying today. Krypt lifesaver. ❤
When did we give you your A2 certificate? 😛
It's even A1 -> A2
In fact I don't recall giving you an A1 certificate either. 🤔
IDK guys you said I was A2.
you give certificates :?
🤷
I will have 1 for English but not for German. And the tests online don't say whether you A1 or A2.
@red pewter We're just teasing 😛
I know ~600 words so I'm hoping i'm firmly in A1 now. But eh if I'm not it's only been 4 weeks and I'll just have to work harder
don't worry, just keep learning
If you know even 1 word you're A1.
it will all come
@hot cloak Where's your Dannerd of the rich people certificate?
thank you ❤
That's Dannerd's certificate.
Geeman D2 (best of the world)
Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce themselves and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people they know and things they have. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
💯
amazing
I can do that henburas.
There are no requirements to become an A1 learner, there are requirements for when have learned A1
What's the difference? 🤔
Now I want A2 requirements. And if I am not A2 then sad Floppsy will appear.
Beginning of course and end of course
Ok, with the edit I agree
Yeah, I noticed that it was confusing
I don't know if i can talk about things I have...maybe a few things like "computer" "umbrella" "pillow" "cell phone"...
But you don't say "I am level N" if you just passed level N-1
You're learning level N sure
Ayyy look I ordered a meal in Germany. That was fokking stressful.
You are considered at an N level, once you are done with the first half of the level
when i was in korea, i tried to order 4 chicken nuggets and accidentally ordered 40 D:
@nocturne spruce Is that an actual thing in the framework? 🤔
Or just for the tags on this server?
Not really
It's for the server
The Framework will identify you with the letter and number
Anyway Flops if you'd answer my question, maybe I'll give you an A1 certificate. 😛
since B1 and B2 as well as C1 and C2 varry a lot
yeah i can't do that
like Riot and I have the same role, but I'm no where near as good in German
how long have you been learning flappy :?
2 years at school.
wowza
At this point I feel like my vocabulary is holding me back a lot 😐
The 2 other years were just nothing.
anki EVERYTHING
But you don't say "I am level N" if you just passed level N-1
You do. Because passing the exam should be enough to prove that you have the knowledge required for the level. In practice, it may not, because you only need like 60% to pass, but still. It's a good measure. What you shouldn't do is give yourself the Level C role as soon as you start taking a C level class. Well actually you'd say I'm level N-1, not I'm level N.
i've been banking about 150 words a week with anki
Flops. Less talking, more doing?
Yeah, it does improve quickly, especially if you're surrounded by the language
- Iss mehr Gemüse.
- Esst mehr Gemüse.
- Essen Sie mehr Gemüse.
"eat more vegetables, if you please"
I just want to go back to germany and not sound like a potato T_T
i wouldnt worry too much about vocabulary, until you really have to use it
as long as you know how to look up words
What's the last one in English supposed to be? 🤔
hey 😄 😄 😄 let’s do some translatearoonis
Yes. The imperative is a command. There's no "if you please" involved, unless you actually say so.
No, that was a joke
:v
@viscid cape oh says you, the bad influence on my german btw

Shiet
fløppr
need French homework help
😩
lel
so I want to say 'I'm more independent '
how do I say that in French
15+ minutes until Flöppers translates what she should
Okay. Let's do one more. Again, give me all 3 forms.
I'd like to see listen closely
And since I don't care about translations, use zuhören for listen and genau for closely. 😛
Because we have to see how well you handle those. 😉
Just do what you think is right.
Mikuh go bully Arizona.
@shy bobcat Do the really awkward sentence I posted earlier today
Tbh it's probably way too easy for you
Make a more awkwardererer one!
Now find the mistake.
just give me the awkward sentence
The nice young man that you met yesterday went to the run-down store on the corner with his new friend to buy his favorite white chocolate because they had already eaten it all, but unfortunately it was sold out, so they went home empty-handed
How do you get more awkward than this 🤔
Mistake ™
Oh my god thay sentence
LOL
Flops, what's wrong with your sentences?
No one saw that 😅
I have no idea.
I did 👀
Check again. Pay attention to everything.

E V E R Y T H I N G
Good Flopper. 🍪
Ich muss euch mal zeigen worum's hier geht.
Passt gut auf, damit ihr mich versteht. 🎶
The nice young man that you met yesterday went to the run-down store on the corner with his new friend to buy his favorite white chocolate because they had already eaten it all, but unfortunately it was sold out, so they went home empty-handed
Der nette junge Mann, den du gestern kennengelernt hast, ist mit einem neuen Freund von ihm zum abgewohnten Laden an der Ecke gegangen, um seine Lieblingsweißschockolade zu kaufen, weil sie alles davon schon gegessen hatten, aber leider war sie ausverkauft, also sind sie mit leeren Händen nach Hause gegangen.
@cold vessel
Find the imperatives Floppo.
👍
Almost correct, but incomplete.
well, we don’t have to be too technicall, fløppr got it already, basically
We do though. 😛
"Passt auf."
the hekl arrem are you lost in YT again
...and everyone in the video sounds oddly feminine. Happy April Fools! ⚠️This version is completely fanmade. There is currently no official Japanese translat...
@shy bobcat Apparently "Lieblingsweißschockolade" doesn't work
hint
Because "weißschockolade" isn't a thing
"Schockolade" 🤔
Because YOU SHOULD STOP SPOILING.
Lazy town is some crazy shit.

wait, how would you say it @quasi merlin
Alright Floppso, there isn't really much more to the imperative, so I'd say you know it. We'll quiz you again in a few days though. 😛
Sure.
You'd better remember it when you're asked about it, otherwise...
(mikuh inc)
but it’s speciffically favourite white chocolate
So, more or are you gonna go to bed? 😛
"white chocolate" is "weiße Schokolade", but you can't really attach "Lieblings-" to that.
Lieblingsscheißschokolade
LOL WHAT
@shy bobcat Fun fact, this is basically impossible to say in Norwegian. Dunno about Danish
So you'd probably do what Luna said and leave out the "white" part.
ok
Disappointing. Shameless. Awful.
so, you literally cannot say a “favourite (adjective) X” in German?
Alrighto Flops, you did good today. Good nighto and see you tomorrow.
No, you can't, Arizona.
Good night foxy fox, see you tomorow.
RIP
Ah thankies Arrem. See ya everyone.
Good night, Fläppers.
@quasi merlin so how would you phrase “her favourite blue dress”, “ihr Lieblingskleid, das blau ist”?
You can say "his preferred white chocolate" 🤷
Btw. I'd prefer "heruntergekommen" for "run-down", what do you think, @pine ginkgo ?
Also, given that the whole bully Flops squad is here now, a little PSA for you all, after some serious discussion™ we've decided to change our approach
We're using that old book thingo, so when bullying Flops, ask her what she did last time and do either that or the next thing in the book. http://www.prsformusicfoundation.com/docs/408/Schenke - Seago - Basic German.pdf Take small steps and don't give her sentences where she can make a billion mistakes at the same time.
Except Casca I guess, so @fair iron ^
"ihr Lieblingskleid, welches blau ist"
Can you say" Betäubungsmittelverschreibungsverordnung"? Yes, excellent German, mein Herr, everything okay. Can you say "Lieblingsweißschokolade" though? OMG NO, that sounds terrible, terrible German.
I almost made one when that guy kept spoiling things. Fortunately he stopped. 😛
I don't mean you. 😛

🤔
GO TO SLEEP!
There was a native that just gave away the correct answers because he "didn't care".
This book is pretty cool
Fläppers you should read all of it, I mean it
And do all exercises
i wish i could stop caring about flops
Theres a ghost under your bed flappers
She doesn't have enough time because going offtopic takes up all of her time. 😛
the Flopser Appraisal Internal Law ™
in short
wow such discipline
You bet it is.
of course it is

bullying ™
what curious happenstance
I was about to say, that placement of “internal” feels a bit off
LOL
but obviously it wouldn’t be FAIL if you moved it
Anyway goooood night you lovely bullies. ❤
Good night again.
Night Floppo.
well I attempted to translate “the Flopser Appraisal Internal Law” into German, before noticing “FAIL” 😅
Das Flopser-Innenbewertungsgesetz
Time to bully Arizona.
do you want the
you suck
or you done okay
approach
🤔
asking in advance this time
Im sure shes still here reading these messages
tbh, tell me if I suck if I actually suck
sure sure
just don’t go full on 😂
https://giphy.com/gifs/funny-suck-asksbi2MCcSI0 you suck this much
Remind me to give Floppo her A1 certificate tomorrow.

Oh look she's still here.
Flappy left huh
there’s been a whole lot of flapps discussion and not a whole lot of des traductionnes
shit
OH FLAPPZ
@ocean robin ...
https://i.imgur.com/OyEt4rI.png I'll make it an A2 when we finish the book. 😛
DANIEL GIMMA THAT BEFORE 11 PM PLEASE.
plox fix this shite
It is time to remind Arrem to give the Flopppelops a hand made certificate for reaching a certain level, so a notification should be send to Arrem.
wow daniel you suck
let's go easy, teeeis
at
I’m probably gonna fail at spelling something since I’m a mess today
da same time
This is like the Daniel challenge in French. I bet all he's saying is "I like being young because I've been young all my life. And I'm good at being young. I've never been old. Because I'm young. Yeah."
"L'école, c'est ennuyeux."
"Nous avons amusement." "Nous nous amusons."
"C'est mon opinion." (not feminine)
[the end] bon tout le temps"
toot
Es ist die Zeit, Arrem zu erinnern, Floppelops ein handgemachtes Zertifikat (oder Zeugnis?) zu geben, weil sie ein bestimmtes Niveau erreicht hat, also sollte eine Benachrichtung (oder Erwähnung?) zu Arrem gesendet werden.
are thise the only mistakes?
oh got teeeis
nous nous
mhh
good job teeeis
one minor thing
which is... not necessarily a mistake
but
something we do
And then it's correct. :)
can you tell me which of the two parentheses’d words was correct
woopdidoo
both
I kinda put two guesses in
"Not necessarily a mistake but something we do if we want to be correct"
@viscid cape so a stylistic thing
drop the artikel für zeit
"parce que je peux faire CE que je veux"
wow I am tired
@hot cloak
@viscid cape like, in portuguese “eu sou ari” you don’t need a eu but it’s correct with or without
oh yeah he dropped the "ce"
@marble glade isn't tired, you shouldn't be tired either
I'll remember that for the future
👀
you read me, teeeis?
Yeah, it's just like in English. "It's time" and "Es ist Zeit" both usually go without an article.
but I think I'll leave it out of this one
@shy bobcat Since when do you know that
cuz my mum would definitely know I got this checked
@viscid cape Google

and Spanish

In whatsoever mode, or by whatsoever means, our knowledge may relate
to objects, it is at least quite clear that the only manner in which it
immediately relates to them is by means of an intuition. To this as the
indispensable groundwork, all thought points. But an intuition can take
place only in so far as the object is given to us. This, again, is only
possible, to man at least, on condition that the object affect the
mind in a certain manner. The capacity for receiving representations
(receptivity) through the mode in which we are affected by objects,
objects, is called sensibility. By means of sensibility, therefore,
objects are given to us, and it alone furnishes us with intuitions; by
the understanding they are thought, and from it arise conceptions. But
an thought must directly, or indirectly, by means of certain signs,
relate ultimately to intuitions; consequently, with us, to sensibility,
because in no other way can an object be given to us.
Go teeis.

I am 99 percent sure I’m gonna end up using the word for “blood vessel” or “vessel” as in a boat already, since I’m using the power of the dictionary
Let's just ignore her if she comes back again.
