When there are 4 people including you on a train and the other 3 are speaking German and laughing and so on and they’re also the same age and stuff- it’s painful not being able to speak German. Also can be painful in another way, like when I had to pay special attention as I was being told how to attach the hooks in a climbing park all in German. So it's not easy but you improve fast.
