Hi, I have a query. Can someone clarify which of the two sentences is correct and why? Ich mochte den Film or Ich mag den Film? I'm a little perplexed with the usage of mögen and möchten. As far as I know, möchten means 'would like' to where as mögen simply means 'to like'. Kindly do correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you.
