To get into ai-assisted watchface development for the first time, I've taken a few silly ideas from cartoons. He's an emu preview of what I've been working on. I'm primarily targeting gabbro but I do plan on making an emery version available as well, since it feels wrong to not take some advantage of PT2 hype.

Future plans include a color-blind friendly alternate color scheme, configurable start/end workday hours, chalk compatibility, and allowing the top to be midnight instead of your workday's start.

and yes -- I know the text colors are the opposite of the colors from the actual show. I'm saving the real color configs for when I can actually see how the watch looks on a pebble screen IRL. 🙂

#

for now I'm just using "kelly green" and "melon" as my approximations.

#

Alternatively -- maybe using GColorVividCerulean & GColorFolly as my colors gets a bit closer?

#

Oh, and the second hand only appears after interactions.

Might even want to go with the solid plain red. All colors get pretty washed out on real hardware, so pure red is a lot less harsh than you might expect

Might look pretty nice on real hardware. I can take a picture of how it looks on chalk if you need (not that a picture of a watch will look perfect)

I appreciate the offer! Will have to get the layout adjusted for chalk in a bit... it's kinda cramped on that smaller screen unless I adjust font sizes.

This watch face gave me an idea on how to expand on this concept, what about a 24h watchface with pie sections representing different events? Probably needs to be ironed out but have either color coded or labeled pie sections for different events and the size of the pie sections would be based off of the start and end times of events.

I'll keep that in mind, but I figured I'd put the idea out anyway, since someone could use it.
