Use a non-Gmail email address?

Hi,

I'm migrating off Gmail and wondering if there's a way to have my account use a non-Gmail email address or if I'm going to have to keep my account solely for Rebble billing. I see some people here have changed their email successfully but I'm guessing they have moved between Gmail accounts, so I'm not sure. Thank you!
