UI transfer

Hi all,

I've done this a few times where I've transferred settings (UI/keybinds/etc). I've recently upgraded my PC and it's capable of higher resolutions.

When I load the game after overwriting eqconfig/character files, the game loads and looks good, but is small due to the new monitor size. Any time I adjust the resolution for the new PC, all windows reset and stack in the center of the screen.

I tried adjusting the resolution manually in the eqconfig file, but similar results.

Any advice to upscale resolution and keep the window locations?

in the ini file, every single registered resolution has it's own UI settings. you would need to copy them over, and then adjust for the new resolution. if you have chosen a very high resolution, you will likely need a new UI all together that has been created specifically for this purpose - or all of the text and mouse hotspots will be tiny.
