I'm observing a minimum of 2 dropped packets back to back will desync and cause any character I have logged in to linkdeath (LD). I am on Verizon 5G Home internet service and discord is still connected, VOIP phone calls remain connected, streaming video over zoom stays connected. Is there something configured server side that may cause a character to go LD if 2 or more packets are dropped due to internet connection stability issues? I am working with my ISP since this is clearly an issue on their end and have ruled out equipment and LAN side of the network as an issue. This doesn't seem like something I can help lessen the impact by configuring the EQ Client but I am open to any suggestions. I'm willing to accept this is working as intended by the staff as well since the old cable pull tricks back in the day may have necessitated this "feature" as an anti-cheat measure.
