I am wanting to start making Aztec paneling on both of my ships but I might need to have some hlep with that part in Photoshop for both Normal mapping and shininess. Maybe some window stuff for the Akira refit. Anyone have any tutorials or helpful hints and tips? Also what shape of Deflector Dish would work on the Akira refit?

the TOS version is a Dragoon class Support hauler and light cruiser, while the Akira variant is a Hammerhead refit. forward leaning struts instead of backwards. giving it that Klingon inspired look
for the akira the bottom bulbous decks were removed to have the saucer 'return to form' of the NX class. The hole in the bow is possibly where the main deflector would go and there's a secondary deflector on the combat pod
Port and Starboard on the pod are Phaser strips to compensate for the removal of the aft port and starboard launchers.
