if pluto was considered as a planet then eris, ceres, orcus, salacia....etc should also be considered as planets but they arent because it must be big enough that its own gravity cleared away any other object of similar size near its orbit around the sun for example ceres is round and it revolves around the sun its still not a planet because its not big enough to capture, deflect or merge the other objects in the asteroid belt similarly pluto is in the kuiper belt and its not big enough to deflect, merge or capture the other objects in the kuiper belt and the cherry on top is that there is an object called Eris which is the same size as Pluto but 30% more heavier and it aint considered as a planet which solidifies the fact that Pluto is not a planet
