I'm having issues with completing the dlc mastery challenges. It's the Templebrough wolf challenge.

I watched a video on how to do it and it it's easier to complete the challenge 2 years ago than it is now.

Basically the arrow isn't killing enemies off with one headshot. The video I watched show the player killing enemies with headshots. But when I do it they don't die in one hit.
They then come after me (Eivor) and Eivor's armor is so weak you die pretty quickly/ easily.
I'm definitely getting the heads when I aim with the arrow.

I noticed also that the explosive barrels don't always kill the enemies that are standing near it either. It seems very luck base with those barrels.

So any help or advice?

for headshot kills, don't expect to waste them with just one shot, hit a weak spot and then the heat, that should do most enemies

#

if the red bar is full when pointing at the head it'll kill, if not then you might be lucky with a critical hit but you need certainty

#

explosive thingy kills can be tricky, the enemy being close to the explosive helps (I think) but again take health down with a non-lethal shot then do the explosion

#

poison kills are going to need adrenaline so you need to ensure you get kills to boost that as well as using the mushrooms

#

in these modes there tends to be limited ways of doing things, so you'll have to ensure you avoid random kills at all times and you need to figure out patrol routes, hiding places and so on

#

you start in a location where you cannot be seen so take time to look around from up there - don't move too much, just look around, watch the guards

#

don't worry about speed on a first run

these trials are not supposed to be easy and they pushed me quite a bit, using unfamiliar methods - they were well-made, apart from that one truly dire one (odin mine wolf I think)
