Due to the lack of gaming sessions the growth of the game may be slowed down. As far as I am aware, I've noticed its mainly Moderation or Development Team focusing on hosting Gaming Sessions. So instead, introducing the Gaming Session Hosts could be beneficial.

GAMING SESSION HOST - HOW DOES IT WORK?

So people could apply via a Google Form for a Gaming Session Hoster. This will grant them the role to allow them to speak in a designated channel only with a limit of Ping per hour (to not overdo it). Those people would create some link or server for everyone to join to host this gamenight.

This will not only re-alive the game a bit more (haven't played it myself but I suspect it could be an issue), but will also improve the growth and give time for developers to focus on new updates.

EXAMPLE:
An individual would go through a Form document, asking about his experiences, intentions and other important information for a gaming session host. After gaining a satisfactory score to the development team, he could be roled as a test to host sessions. He would have a quota of sessions per week, where if not met he would be taken off of the role.

IDEA TO FUEL AN ENTIRE SYSTEM - NOT FINALISED

I get your point, but I think that at current level of activity, LFG (Looking For Game) reaction role which could be pinged by anyone would serve the same purpose and is much simpler. It's more prone to abuse, but at current level of activity it would be easier to just kick/ban a person occasionally than manage proposed system.

I remember that such role already exists, but there was an issue with reaction role bot being limited to 3 roles for free
