#Why the buff in health for the ammo forge?

I just wish to know why the munition forge got such a drastic health buff?

Wasn't it abused in the past as armor?

I am not asking for a change, just an explaination of the thoughtprocess.

Imo it gives the same vibes of rc's "buff rails dmg by 20%".

it is extremely heavy, so heavy that some of my drones cannot takes off now

#

though i think ground vehicles don't care this at all

#

still i believe simply a model c ep is a much better armor than the forge

#

before the change it health actually lower than MDD and Force Concussor, and now it has a similar health to them

Personally don't think it was a good idea to just double the hp.

I can get behind the weight change to encourage air more to use the new lighter ammoboxes instead, however if one is to declare a functionial part a "heavy part", it should receive the same health advantage comparable to the heavy cubes over regular cubes imo.

i think this is problematic of gunbrella

#

not as much these modules have too much health

#

components just feel odd because they sink rail and tend to absorb umrl

The Forge is massive, hard to armor, and now very heavy (on top of being more expensive than it was before), it getting plinked off in a third of a second by ELC or two rivet pops felt really punishing.

#

Since Forge is now more of a nice QoL instead of a mandatory part to use secondaries and is now a bit weaker playstyle-wise, I think them getting a bit more HP in exchange for the incredible list of inconviniences is a fair tradeoff.

#

Forges are no longer single-handedly enabling really unfun playstyles, so they are no longer priority stripping targets either

Thanks for clarification, though a 100% buff still seems extreme.

It's about a 40% increase, mostly just puts it above the breakpoint of needing an additional ELC or Rivet shot to finish off
